Sears.com provides options to help you find the right product. For better results, try the following:

Feature Search

Begin by clicking on the tabs at the top of the page. Then choose a product sub-category on the left to access our feature search.

This is very useful for finding items from a broad assortment. It will ask you to input your preferences for brand, color, price and other features, and then returns items that match your criteria.

Keyword Search

Choose a category in the pull-down box at the top-left portion of the page and enter key word(s) in the box.

This is useful for quickly finding a product by a unique item number, word or phrase. For example, use keyword search to find item "57588" that you may have seen in our weekly newspaper inserts. Or enter word(s) that describe the product you are looking for like "refrigerator" or "1/2 cordless drill" to narrow your search.

You can use any of the following symbols in your text:

+

This means the following word must be associated to the product (you need to put a space in front of the +).
Example: Saw +craftsman. This will help to narrow your search by returning only Craftsman saws.

-

This means the following word must be excluded from your search (you need to put a space in front of the -).
Example: Saw -electric. Your results would include all non-electric saws.

|

This means either the word before OR the word after should be associated to the product(you need to put a space in front of and behind the |).
Example: washer kenmore | maytag. This will help to broaden your search by returning all Kenmore and Maytag washers.

*

This is the wildcard symbol. This will help by searching for part of a word if you're not sure exactly how it is spelled.
Example: refrig* (for refrigerators).

Brand Search

Sears.com offers a wide selection of brands on-line. To access this search you can:

• Click on "Shop by Brands" on the left navigation of any page.
• OR
• Type the brand name into the Keyword search box. Narrow your search by including the brand and category for which you are looking. Example: Kenmore side by side refrigerator.

The Results Page

Results may include a list of up to 200 matching products. More than 40 results, may be a sign that you should narrow your search for a smaller, more accurate result list.

From the results page, you could:
• Select 2 - 4 items for side-by-side comparison;
• Select a product by clicking on its description link;
• Re-sort the entire list by clicking on the column headings (You can sort by brand, product name, Sears #, or price); or
• Add an item to your shopping cart by clicking the 'Buy Now' button.
