    This netbook is a winner. Compared to competitor's netbooks the Toshiba Mini Netbook has a better keyboard and longer battery life. The stylish design is also a step above competitors. It comes with 1GB Ram, but it is upgradable to 2GB. The performance is okay and I expect to have better results once I upgrade the memory. This netbook had all that I was looking for with webcam, card reader, and enough usb ports.

    On the negative side, the speakers are not very good. If I want to listen to music or watch a movie, I plug in my earbuds. Also, I am not very happy with Windows 7 starter.

    Overall, the Toshiba Mini Netbook is a great value. It is a step above the competition and I would definately recommend it.

    this was an inexpensive laptop for my daughter. It works out well for her because she can do her homework on it and use the internet. Great for a beginner without spending a ton of money

    Bought this for a teacher where I work and SHE LOVES IT. Not only is the price FANTASTIC but she loved it for all it features. Its light, looks great, she bought the orange. Its not small enough that she feels uncomfortable when she switches to the larger one at her desk. She took it with her when she traveled from NY to London to Belgium and she had no complaints. Worked efficiently and effectively.

    This netbook is great for general household use surfing the internet or playing with photos.  The processor is a bit slow if you try doing anything too fancy, but for day-to-day use it's fine.  Keyboard size is easy to use (some netbooks are a bit too small for easy typing - this one is fine).  I'm a bit disappointed that it comes with Windows 7 - a bit clunky and have some compatibility issues with common programs (e.g., antivirus) that I'd prefer not to have to pay for again.  Still, it's a solid little laptop.
