Nikons are amazing cameras, and this model is one of thier best. Great features, great color, good battery life, and best of all, great results! I don't know why people spend money on other brands of digital cameras...poloroid? kodak? I'll stick with my Nikon thank you.

"Easy Auto,Software could be simplifiedI was able to pick this camera up on sale and was surprised to find how many features it has for the price, even at full price. Simple to use overall but..... (see cons) don't go changing setting until you read the directions. I have been happy overall with the camera and several people that have used it have been able to pick it up and get great results.
The software program is OK, maybe I'm just undecided on that but it works. For a camera in this price range it has many features (panoramic mode is really cool if you take a few minutes to understand it) of much more expensive cameras. After a month and about 500 pictures and probably mostly user error I'd say 18 out of 20 pictures are pretty good using the "auto" setting. Battery life has been acceptable, 2nd to highest setting I shot over 150 picks at one time, came back and still had life. Seems sturdy and well built. Movie mode is good. Could disappoint in "Easy Auto" mode as it distorts lighting so use just the "Auto" mode for ease and best results.
