Great size for travelMy dad wanted a good point and shoot digital camera. This was a great value for the price. He doesn't take advantage of all the features of more expensive cameras, so this is a good choice for him.

shutter speed a little slowI bought this camera to have a handy point and shoot camera that I could take anywhere since the Sony DSLR I have is too big to carry everywhere every day. The Nikon is perfect; takes great shots, is fairly easy to use and adjust to my personal liking depending on what I'm photographing. I love taking pictures of flowers and such and we have two border collies who are always entertaining and active so I needed a camera that could catch good action shots. I am verypleased with my purchase, plus I got in on sale at Sears.
