High Quality Images,Small enough to fit in a pocketThe camera is generally great. 12.1MPs are fantastic for capturing memories with quality. Selftimers are nice with several options from 3 seconds to 10 seconds with 3 pictures. It's great in natural light and takes great quality pictures but in lower lights and especially with the flash pictures tend to look a little orange and unevenly lit. It works great as a general point and shoot camera because the picture quality is great generally. Great for the non-professional like me!

nonehands down this camera is great. The price is very reasonable and the pictures it takes are awesome! Not to mention the HD movie mode. The zoom is more than adequate for its size and in low light the camera trumps every brand I have had before. My daughter has become quite the photog since I bought it. Great investment.

Zoom isn't that bigI bought this camera a few months ago and have been really happy. I've always been a big Cannon fan, but my old one was 6 pixels which was fine until I started blowing up my pictures past 5x7. So when I started looking for new ones, I got recomendations from friends (Sony did get some good callouts) but Cannon was the frontrunner again. This camera is thinner than my old Elf model so fits easily into my jeans (and if you're a girl going out at night, that's very important) and has incredible quality. I also like the bright red color. It makes it easy to find in my bag and if friends are passing it around and taking pictures during the night, I can always tell which one is mine. I do recommend investing in a bigger memory card because you're going to be really tempted to take videos on this one!
The only con I have is that its only a 3x zoom. You have to sacrifice zoom for size. At the end of the day it was more important to me that I could carry it easily, but if you do a lot of sporting events, etc. you might want to get the slightly clunkier model and have a better zoom.
