Flip Video  Flip Ultra Camcorder 2nd Generation, 120 Minutes

This is a good camcorder. It is somewhat limited. It's hard to hear the video at times, and you cannot zoom in with very good quality. But for the money, it's a good device to capture short videos.

I have had the chance to take the film to people that cannot see some of the people they care about and they had personal messages and entertaining activities to watch, was a big hit. I have downloaded to my computer, now I have to learn how to email them to others but that day will come. It is a great little device and definitly would be a good gift!

I needed a simple video recorder for my son's Spanish Class (It's an on line class). It is so easy to use. I would def. recommend it to anyone needing a simple to use video recorder.

I bought this camera for my son for his birthday. Right out of the box it was ready to use. So simple yet creates high quality videos that are easily uploaded to our computer. The size is also perfect as I see him stuffing it into his pocket when he leaves the house. For the price I was very impressed. It is a very intuitive piece of electronics so even if you can't program your VCR (are those things still around?) you can run this video camera. Connecting it to the computer is also a breeze and the software loads automatically which is nice. I also have to say the screen is a nice size and very vivid. Excellent present for a teenager.

I love this video camera. It is small enough to fit in my pocket and takes a pretty decent video for the price.  There is an HD version available - This is NOT HD.  That said, the video it takes is great for my family. Even the younger kids can use it and enjoy the instant playback with sound on the devise itself.  It is also easy to hold away from your body and take self-video.

It charges while it is plugged into the USB of your computer, even as you are downloading the videos you have already made.  It also has an AC charger. I like the fact I don't need to worry about changing batteries with this camera.

It also has the software it needs to work with your computer. Just plug it in and it will guide you throught the installation and before you know it, you are up and running!  As long as you have an internet connection, it will also do its own upgrades. LOVE THIS CAMERA!

My son is due back from Afghanistan today. My regular Sony camcorder, battery died on the morning of the Welcome Home Ceremony. I went to Sears to purchase a battery for my camcorder. I bought the camcorder at Sears previously. There was no battery in store. I needed a camcorder to record my son & his troop arriving back home to Ft.Carson, Colorado Springs. I purchased the Flip. I instantly was pleased to find out the recording length.It fit my entire Welcome Home Ceremony plus more.It lasted 2 hours. The zoom lens was perfect & the sound was good. More than enough time to record that precious moment in my sons life and mine. I was able to quickly download the video onto my computer with out any problems. I think I will give this to my son, so he can record special moments from this day forward. I truly recommend this to anyone, especially for special occasions. It is not bulky or heavy to hold. Please, try this product, You will have no regrets. Very happy with my Flip.

I heard nothing but positive things about the Flip Camcorder series, so after doing some comparison shopping on the Flip website, I decided to buy the Flip Ultra 2.0.

I bought the Flip Ultra for my wife as an anniversary present in hopes that she would continue to document my son's growth.  He is now 21 months old and in the past 5 months, I think that we have 50+ videos of him.

The camera is SO easy to use: one button to records, another to zoom, one to delete, etc.  And, the uploading of videos is even easier: just pop out the USB connection and plug into your laptop or desktop (PC or Mac).  Finally, it is easy to upload videos to your social networks, to a personal Flip page, attach to e-mail, etc.  It is all SO EASY... and the quality of the Ultra, which is non-HD, is great.

There are also a bunch of options for this line in terms of HD vs. non-HD; color schemes; memory size; etc.  You can even customize your camera's exterior.

Inexpensive, lightweight, small, easy-to-use!  What else would you want?
