This camera is worth the money. It has a nice zoom feature. I turn off my optical zoom so i can maintain the quality of the picture. There are many features i have yet to learn. It has features of an slr, so it is a good learning camera. It has the perfect fit for my hands. the zoom ring is easy to use. If all you buy this camera for is the zoom feature, its worth it. I started out with the auto mode, and that all you need to get started. Its a wonderful find!! Do the research, go to Olympus. We purchased the camera right before our Disney Vacation. We used our own photos to create a souvenior book!!
