The camera was very very easy to use. After a few glitches of thumb on the lense, panning to fast and not holding steady enough it was great. It was also a little too expensive. I did some comparison after I bought it. But, I don't know if the cheaper ones would have the same quality of shots. The picture quality is good. Editing is not as easy. Capturing a single shot was very easy. Removing sections of bad video was more difficult. When cuing up to make a movie with the clips, the sort order did not work correctly unless I named each clip with a letter. The alphabetical sort worked but the creation date taken set it up in reverse no matter which way I did it. I had to use the list to determine exact orer. I had to move/drag them one at a time into the correct sequence and then after the first 6, I had to scroll the screen each time I added another. Labeling with a,b,c worked the best and then, if I moved the group they stayed in the correct sequence. Some of the movies lose the sound quality and are not smooth and are all jumpy. I don't know what caused this.( Maybe working other projects at the same time interred) Saving them to the computer was a breeze. The software needs a few tweeks. This is a great product for quick and easy video. If you are taking serious special shots, you would need something a little more sophisticated. I loved the small size and ease of use and having it in my pocket.
