I purchased this item due to its great price! I searched for others like it and they were definately double in price! It took about 2 days to put this together a little long, but worth it. I originally purchased this item for myself and my husband to use! Well so far I am the only one that has used it. I love this item. I like that it has lots of different exercises. After my workouts of Turbo Fire, I use the equipment for some strength training. I highly recommend this item for anyone! Easy to use. One small problem I am only 5'2" and have a little bit of difficulty when using some of the items, but I make it work.

Preacher curl pad need to be modified September 24, 2009
Overall it's a great gym, my only complaint is the design of the preacher curl pad. I use my gym at least 3 times a week and by the end of the month my preacher curl pad will have to be replaced. When in use the chain rubs up against the pad creating a lot wear and tear on the pad. My opinion is should be modified.

Limited range of motion,Takes up a lot of roomI read all of the reviews regarding assembly after I put this together. Extremely heavy; me and a buddy had a hell of a time getting it onto our porch. It could have been packed a bit more organized. What worked well for me was to take about 3 or 4 steps at a time, go downstairs and get all of the parts for it by matching them up with the graphics, and bringing them up in batches.
We bought it for my wife but i plan to use it as well. It took me 3 sessions by myself---a sunday while watching the Steelers game assembling the frame, 3 hrs on Monday night doing pulleys, and 3 hrs on Wednesday finishing pulleys and assembling the seats....wifey went to bed and the room is right above our bedroom so all i have to do tomorrow is throw the decorative shrouds on it and we're good to go.
Regarding the reviewers commenting the assembly, i found it to be quite time consuming yet easy. Instructions were accurate---only cornfusion I saw was on the rear frame regarding the slope of one of the rests for the left side upper bar...all my parts were there, bubble wrapped per each phase. They must have listened to some of you because the spacers all came with a separate page that you could use to measure them (9mm, 13mm,etc)...it was a bit confusing that two spacers were in with the lat bar chain and a separate bag of the 19mm plastic spacers was very similar to some metal 20mm ones...but if you read the instructions carefully, they do specify when to use "spacers" and when to use "metal spacers". After reading these reviews i'm worried I may not have differentiated between the long cable traps and the short ones, may have to go fix them.
I'm not much of an exerciser yet, but i can see the concern with the range of motion---i'm going to try the suggestion that someone made to stretch the cables and then readjust. I too was disappointed that the workout graphic card that came with it was not specific to that gym.
Overall, it seems sturdy, has alot of features, and the cost was good. I'll post more once we've had a chance to use it enough, but i really think its a good values and seems well built.
