After reading some reviews on this, I was a little nervous putting this up...but I had the whole thing up by myself in about 10 minutes, even with a little breeze blowing through. Its not the best canopy, but it's inexpensive and it does the job. Not sure if it would be that good for a tailgating event because you do have to secure it down, and it takes a little more room to do that. But for the beach or camping...or really anywhere where you have room, this will work.

This is the worst piece of garbage I have ever purchased. I'll admit that I didn't like the thought of spending $100 for one of the EZ Up style canopies, so this seemed like I good deal. This turned out to be frustrating to assemble because it requires more than one person, and then wouldn't stay up. I ended up shoving it back in the bag and just dealing with sitting in the sun. It wasn't even truly 10' square (more like 9'), and requires several feet around it for the tie-downs so you cannot use this if you are at a fair or something where you are restricted to a 10x10 space. If you are considering this canopy, save your money and put it toward an EZ Up - you get what you pay for with this piece of junk (and I only paid $25 for this).

This dining canopy is very easy to assemble; if you have 4 people you can have it up in about two minutes flat. If you don't I'm not sure you can get it put up at all! I needed each corner to be supported separately; there may be a more clever way to do it solo but I couldn't figure it out. The legs don't lock into place on the canopy so the angle will change. Read between the lines: if you don't stake it down well it will collapse. Each of the four legs needs to be staked out in two directions; don't skimp by tying any of your legs to a single spot. You will get KABLOOEY! (Thus speaks experience...) I'm going to return mine because I need a rigid frame that will stay up in a very limited space at market. If you're taking yours into the woods to camp, and you have a few feet out in each direction to work with, go for it! It's a great price, $30-40 less than the next step up, and as I mentioned easy to assemble.
You get what you pay for. This is a large, tall canopy for a relatively low price. It folds compactly for good portability. It weighs little and is easy to carry in the provided carrying case. However the materials quality is low. The fabric pocket on one corner of the canopy that is supposed to hold a pole at high tension tore through. I had to jury rig it to keep the pole in place. The plastic feet on the legs were already cracked and broken off in the package. I bought rubber feet from OSH that work very well for about $1.50. The ropes are more than strong enough to hold it down, but the provided thin aluminum stakes have only limited holding power depending on the ground. If you expect winds, you may want to buy eight good camping stakes separately. For some reason, the materials were dirty in the package. Either it was previously used, or was packaged in dirty conditions. The components didn't appear to be used, and the canopy looked like it was still in the original folded state. So I don't know where all the dirt came from. Don't expect this canopy to last very long, but if you need something quick, large, and effective for a party, picnic, or camping, it's cheap enough to be disposable after a few uses.
