NordicTrack C3 si Recumbent bike is an excellent value. September 09, 2010
I say it's an excellent value because unless you want to start spending thousands, for $400 or less with a sale or promotion, you won't find much that isn't a wobbly mess.
This bike has varied programs and I wanted it primarily because I had a total knee replacement. I used a recumbent bike in PT and my therapist recommended purchasing a recumbent bike to keep the flexion in my knee that I worked so hard to get. It's very easy to adjust the seat to keep me where I need to be and I have had NO problems with it.
No - it doesn't come with the adapter but I've been using batteries and so far so good. I also wasn't aware that it would be so easy to move. One end has wheels and picking up the front end and moving it on it's wheels let's me clear the LR area when need be.
I read reviews but don't necessarily buy or not buy depending on them. I'm glad I did buy this despite some of the bad reviews.
Oh...my local Sears put this together for me...for free :)

Nordic Track Poor Customer Service and Short Life May 04, 2010
I bought this Nordic Track based on the name in January of 2009. It did not come with an AC adapter so we held off buying one and used batteries.
I decided to buy the AC adapter in September of 2009 following the information in the Carton. They specifically include a paper saying to buy part Number #14730 in with the machine, which is available at Sears. The Owners Manual also recommends (Page 8, section #5) "To purchase an optional AC, contact the store where you purchased this product or call the number on the cover of this manual. To avoid damaging the console, use only a manufacturer supplied AC adapter."
Last night the machine started beeping for no reason and has done this on and off since. Today when I contacted their Customer Service, I was told that I should have purchased the AC Adapter from Nordic Track directly. When I in formed the lady that the machine came with a slip that said to purchase it from Sears, she informed me that they cannot be sure that Sears will sell me the correct AC Adapter. When I asked for a Manager, none were available. She could not let me speak to the manager's boss either. Apparently she was the highest level person on duty.
They are sending me another AC adapter but if that does not work, I have to buy another Console for approximately $300.00. I only paid $430 for the new unit. I cannot see investing another $300 into a unit that did not last for a years service. It was not used from June to September due to health problems.

This exercise bike is everything I hoped January 02, 2012

Comfortable seat,Easy to read display,Very stable, no wobbling.,StableI researched exercise bikes for at least two months before I decided on this bike. My main concern was for my back as I have recently had back surgery. This bike is everything I hoped for. My back is comfortable (pain free) for as long as I ride. I purchased the iFit module and I have used several of the options made available through that program. This bike is very sturdy and stable. I definitely feel this bike was an excellent decision.

Nordic Track Recumbent Exercise Bike is fun to ride. August 19, 2010

Comfortable seat,Easy to read display,Very stable, no wobbling.,Attractive,qualityWe love our new exercise bike. It was a little harder to put together than I imagined but we had it together in an afternoon. I have been riding 20 to 30 minutes every morning before work. The back of the seat squeaks a little bit but I think a little WD 40 will take care of it. I haven't gotten the adapter yet but the Duracell batteries seem to be working fine. Overall we are very happy and on our way to losing weight and getting healthy.
