This is a very quite bike to ride and has plenty of settings for the average person.

I have had continuous problems with the functioning of this bike from the electronics to basic mechanics. During those brief periods of time when everything was working it was great. Disappointing.

I started using a Precor bike at work which was out of my price range. After a few field trips to stores and reading reviews, this bike met my needs. It was delivered yesterday, and put together by myself with an occasional yell for help from my husband in two hours. I hopped on and started using it right away. The display is awesome and the pulse monitor works. It is a great mid-range bike. I do not know how anyone can complain about it!

This bike I have only had for about a year or so and it already broke. I still need to call a tech out to get it checked, but I wouldn't recommend this bike to anyone. The hear rate reader never worked, however decided to still give it a change. Terrible bike and the worst purchase ever.

I bought this bike after returning another that I discovered had horrible reviews once I got home. So, I felt obligated to write a review of this bike to try to help others make an informed decision. After reading the reviews for this machine, it sounded like a better piece of equipment, though the complaints about assembly made me nervous. I am happy to report that my husband and I are still married after assembling this bike together and it only took us 2 hours, which included trying to entertain a 5 month old baby and having to go across the street to borrow a file from a neighbor. Yes, a file.We got as far as step 2 when we discovered that one of the screw holes for the rear stabilizer was not drilled properly and the screw didn?t actually fit. It was a pain, but easily fixed with a metal file. The rest of the assembly went fine, though I agree with the person who recommended going from step 2 to steps 9-12 and then going back to step 3. It made the seat assembly much easier. The pieces were well marked and the directions were fairly simply to follow.

I?ve had the bike 2 weeks and 3 days. I know that because when I went to the site to write this review, I noticed the bike was on sale for $30 less than I paid. When I check Sear?s policy on this, I discovered thatthey will only give a price adjustment within 14 days. 3 days too late. Annoying, but that?s life.

In addition to the screw hole not being properly drilled,I?ve had 2 other issues. The first is that the audio cable to hook up an MP3 player was not included in the box as it should have been. I just got off the phone with customer service. They were very nice about it and are sending me one within the week at no charge. The other issue is with the plug in for the monitor. The  instructions say to unplug when not in use to avoid shortening the life of the machine. The second time I went to plug it back in at the machine, a little metal circle let go and I was no  onger able to reach the plug. I was able to fix it by lifting the wheel cover and working my hand down until I was able to get the piece and plug it back in, but it is very inconvenient. Now my only choice is to plug and unplug at the wall, which is hard to do the way our room is set up.  Annoying, but I will live with it.

The bike itself seems decent. It is stable, the seat is comfortable, and it is very quiet. I can bike with the baby in the room and it doesn?t wake her up. No idea of the accuracy of the pulse grips that other have complained about, but do make sure to peel the stickers off if you want any chance of them working. It didn?t look like a sticker, so it took me a little while to figure that one out. :)

Overall I would recommend this machine. Just go into assembly knowing it will be a little frustrating, check to make sure you have all the pieces, and for heaven?s sake don?t think you can plug and unplug at the bike itself.  

Absolutely love this exercise bike.  The chair is very comfortable and the bike is very quiet.  Great programs to follow...a lot of variety in the speed/tension/time of each program.  Put it together by myself with no problems.  I have used it everyday so far (bought it 3 weeks ago).  I would definitely recommend this to anyone shopping for a recumbent bike.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Nordic Tract exercise bike.It was fairly easy to assemble and the built in workouts make it easy to follow an exercise program.The seat is comfortable and I can listen to my music during my workout.

I need a recumbent bike with a small footprint and a console low enough that I can see over it to watch TV. A quality bike that fits these criteria is rare. The Nordic Track ?seemed? to be a fit for me. After it was installed and I rode it, it was defective. I needed parts. The first parts the Tech requested didn?t fix the problem. The second Tech found other parts the first tech overlooked. It took over 1-1/2 months for these parts. Hand pulse rate monitor never worked. It fluctuated from 60 to 160, never stabilizing Safety & health issue. This is similar to a driving a car with a speedometer that fluctuates between 0 and 100 MPH, and anywhere in between, never stabilizing. Seat is hard and doesn?t tilt back. No lumbar support. Seat adjustment has no indicator for positioning. Drive belt will break about every 3-years, depending on usage. Cost for Belt alone is $75.00. There is no cool down or stop button I returned it.

good sturdy bike, at least 30 pieces. three BIG words - - "some assembly required"
