Arcade Fun December 14, 2006
I love this game since you get to compete against yourself as well as friends and family. Sometimes I play for hours just trying to beat my high score. The basketballs are a good size and easy to handle and it comes with enough so when your shooting you don't run out. A great feature is that it can fold up so when your not playing it takes up very little space and when you are playing it is very sturdy. The running clock and electronic scoring make it fun and challenging. My family and friends love to play it when they come over. Its a must have for anyone who likes basketball or has kids.

Good quality but Poor Design January 11, 2009
This product is more expensive than competitors but bought it anyway. My son loves basketball and I thought he would use it often. I thought the price and vendor would stand for a better quality product. It took about 45mins to assemble and the parts fit nicely. The kids loved it and played with it most of Xmas day. Here were the problems: The scoring mechanism is attached to the bottom of each net. The constant chafing againist the fabric backing of the unit casued a hole to develop in the fabric.This happen to one side and I could see the other side developing. In addition the scoring mechanism is connected to the display with wires. The connectors to the scoring mechanism were wrapped around the wire only and not the isulation. After a half day of play wire broke due to the constant movement of the net. I had some connectors and fixed this myself, this time wrapping the connector around some of the wire insulation; so far it's been holding up. I contacted the Carrom customer support but all I got was a request to return the product to the store. I was at least hoping to get a link to a replacement part. Anyway I'm dreading the thougth of tearing the unit down and returing it but it doesnt seem to be a choice. I think I'll get my money back and but two units from one of the the other vendors.

The Carrom Free Throw Duel Basketball Game is unreliable December 28, 2011

The kids loved playing it.Cons:
The left sensors are defective.,Scoreboard stopped working.This Duel Free Throw game was a blast for my kids and me to play, while it was working. After building the game and turning it on, I noticed that the left side sensors were not functioning at all. Then after playing just the right side for a few hours, the scoreboard starting malfunctioning as well. I contacted the Carrom customer service and they told me that they were sorry but they did not have access to any replacement parts and that I would have to take the entire game back to Sears. I am awaiting word from Sears. I have had excellent customer service in the past from Sears Customer Service and am looking forward to the same response in this case as well.
