There was some guessing involved during assembly because the instructions were not always clear. One example, they mention that a mallet is needed but never tell you when to use it. And, some pieces fit in place upside down. So you don't know you've done it incorrectly till later when trying to fit another piece on. Better/more pictures would have made it a faster and less frustrating activity. With that said, it still only took between 2 and 3 hours to assemble. If you aren't into assembling things, you might end up with a wobbly treadmill. Ours, however, is amazingly sturdy. My spouse and I have been using it for over a month with no problems. We haven't used the "Weight Loss" programs much because they jump up and down in speed/incline too quickly for us. So, we just set our speed and incline and adjust them ourselves for warm-up and then aerobic or fat-burning workouts.

We bought the Proform 620 treadmill at Sears 24 months ago. It has been lightly used - just 123 hours, 425 miles according to its internal computer. Normal use for a home treadmill is about an hour a day. By that reckoning we have had only about 4 months' usual use from it.
Seven weeks ago the incline froze in the maximum position. It required an new computer board to repair. If we had not bought the extended warranty the repair would have cost $421.79.
The treadmill shed rubber from its drive belt onto the floor from its first use, which we were told is normal. Now the drive belt is worn out. When the technician came out he did not have one on his truck so we are waiting for a replacement to be shipped. The belt is a no-name Chinese product. When the replacement belt arrives the technician will return to install it. We can only hope the replacement is better than the original.
We must wait at home a half day for each technician's visit because Sears can only schedule the work in 4 hour blocks.
If we had not bought the extended warranty neither repair would have been covered under the original warranty as the treadmill is over 12 months old and by the time the belt is replaced we would have about the same money in repairs as the treadmill cost to buy.
I called Customer Service to talk about this and spoke with a young lady in a foreign country who would not give the location of the call center. Working from a script, she could not speak to the quality of the item and could only schedule repair visits. There is no one to talk to about quality problems.
I expected better of Sears. Buyer beware.
Purchased this treadmill for my wife and she actually uses it! Controls are simple and programmed workouts are easy to figure out.

I have owned this about 11 months now. About 400 miles so far, so not too much. The motor has been replaced twice, the power supply board has been replaced once. The motor belt was replaced once. The service guy has been to my house three times so far. After his last visit, a couple weeks ago, something was slipping - either the tread belt or the motor belt. I finally was able to tighten the motor belt and now it seems OK. The programs available are just OK. I wish that you could take one of the existing programs and bump the entire program up or down, but you can't. You can only bump up/down the current speed. So if you have a pattern you like, but the max speed is 7 mph and you'd rather have the max at 5, you can't adjust the whole thing at once. I just bought the extended warranty for it, given the trouble I've had. I wish I'd bought up a notch or two.
This has been a great treadmill for us. It's a heavy-duty one, able to accomodate my husband who is over 250 lbs, and the price was great. The treadmill works well, operates smoothly and isn't too loud. I like the fact that the deck folds upward and locks into place for storage so that the entire unit takes up less room. I found assembly to be a little tricky, but not too bad. It took me about 3 1/2 hours to do it by myself. However, I needed another set of hands from my young daughter a couple of times, to hold a piece in place while I secured it. The only criticism I have is that there is really no way to secure a book on the console and I like to read while I work out. I will have to buy a separate reading rack, but that's easy enough to get.
