Love this treadmill. My wife and I both use this since end of Jan. Looked up many treadmills and found this to be the best for the price. I am quit heavy and still works great under my load(over 260lbs). Many built in programs to work with, plus you can do your own. Was a little worried with reading some reviews but not now. It is a little akward to get in the house but If you get a couple friends it is managable. It was simple to assemble also. The only problem I had with this was the fan didn't work at first. But after talking to customer service I took apart the console,(which was easy) and found it was just unplugged probably from shipment. Would definately recommend this to anyone wanting a quality piece of exercise equipment.

Solid base for running. Belt seems to hesitate at times. Huge console. Don't know why it has to be so large. The handles for the heart rate are not consistent whatsoever. Speakers are ok. Nothing special. I checked out several different brands and models and decided to go with this one because of the price and the size of the motor for that price. I would try another brand if I could do it again.

Heavy to moveI was ready to upgrade from my Proform 535X that I bought 5 years ago. I did many hours of research and was torn between Sole F80, Sole F85, and the Nordictrack Elite XT. With exception of the warranty the Nordictrack was a far supiorior treadmill than the Sole and I could pick it up at the local Sears. When I got into the store I noticed that the Elite Zi looked almost the same and looked into it. Turns out the only difference between the XT and the Zi is the silly 7" TV and 0.5 HP in the motor oh yeah and 600 dollars. I was hesitant to buy the Zi but after I got it home I was very happy. It is everything I wanted and needed in a treadmill. The speakers are fantastic and the assembly was simple. The only hard part was moving it into the house, but I was able to do it by myself, just very slowly. I have used it and already noticed the different and the machine itself feels like a commercial grade fitness center treadmill. I highly recommend and make sure you don't just look at the negative reviews about noise. With a little bit of maintenance I am sure this will last another 5 years.

I bought this treadmill in January (after having problems with another N-T treadmill, I wrote a negative review regarding that and it wasn't posted) and I've had 3 problems with it already. The treadmill has not been working for about 10 weeks of the 6 mths I've owned it. Even with purchase the extended warranty getting service from Sears or Nordic Track/Iconfitness is almost impossible. The way my wife and I have been treated is really pathetic and I would stay away.
