NordicTrack  X 9i Incline Trainer

What a machine? This "Beast" is the cornerstone for our health equipment. It was delivered promptly after order and the set-up was actually quite painless since Nordictrack provided the greatest part of the tools needed (with quality tools if I may add)! The assembly instructions could use some fine tuning, but overall very well written. My wife is a determined person that wants to stay fit and gorgeous for me and I am a multiple heart attack victim (past 12 months). We both fell in love with this machine from the moment it was first turned on. It is full featured and alive with every available built-in-challenge and it is exceptionally comfortable to navigate the menu system..I truly have to hold her back because she would be living on the belt 24/7 since it is that enjoyable. The time spent on the machine is also encouraging and still physically challenging!

I love being able to walk anywhere in the world!!!

It's the best workout I've ever had!

If you want to use the iFit features, you will have to shell out another $99 per year per person!! If there are 2 people, that?s almost $200 a year just to use something you already own!! In addition to that, not all workouts are free. They charge you a hefty fee to download certain workouts. This is a money making machine for ICON (Who owns Nordic Track and many other brands) Unless you have a lot of money to burn, don?t get suckered in like we did?.. The treadmill itself is average?there are certainly better ones out there for the money. All the whiz bang features will cost you?LOTS

I purchased this machine about a month ago from a Sears store. It was delivered and set up by an outside contractor (contract with Sears). The machine has been almost flawless. The only issue I have is with the grab rail heart monitor. That part is not so great, but neither are 90% of the monitors on all gym equipment (whether home or professional). The monitor is simply not so accurate. At any rate the machine gets my vote as it has been trouble free and a fairly complete package for the money. The internet access is a big plus if you can concentrate on it while on an incline. Which is not so easy to do. Everything else on this machine works fine.

My husband and I are truly enjoying this machine. I actually look forward to exercising again. I enjoy the setting of "goals" and try to beat the time it says with my incline and speed. If you are looking for a machine to take you to the next level this is it.

This machine has solved my problem of not being able to hike in the winter when there is too much snow on the ground. I go stir-crazy (and a little soft around the mid-section) when I cannot get out and go hiking. The 40% incline is insane and being able to watch scenic videos of Hawaii makes the time fly by. I always end up going farther than my goal because it's so much FUN!!!! LOVE IT!!!!can i say that again LOVE IT!!!!

I had looked at this trainer for months on end. I just could not resist any longer. I am glad I waited because the unit went on sale, so saved a bundle but could have been having a much better workout. Try one you will really enjoy the X9i Incline Trainer

Just got this set up a few days ago just getting started but I can tell I am going to be very happy with the results.

I was pleasantly surprised by the durability of this machine, it's a very solid piece of equipment. The X9i requires two people to assemble, but assembly could not have been simpler. I was up and ready to go with this machine within 30-45 minutes of its arrival. I have been utilizing the built in exercise programs, and truly enjoy this treadmill. The only key point that I would make is to be sure to set up your personal information ( height, weight, age, etc) and utilize the heart rate monitor. Without it, the default calorie burn calculated on the treadmill will be no where near accurate... Utilizing the incline on this treadmill definitely gives me a much more efficient calorie:duration workout than I get in many of my other cardio programs... Gets the heart rate up and makes walking & running much more entertaining by having all of the incline variation options... My back is much happier since purchasing this treadmill, and I can feel and see my legs leaner.
