Proform treadmills with 2.5 HP are great October 07, 2010
I purchased the Proform crosswalk 360 treadmill in July of this year & I really love it. This is my very first exercise machine of any kind ever. I also purchased the warranty for 3 years so I can have maintenance done for free year on the unit. Also, if anything goes wrong they will come to the house to repair it.
My unit also has the workout arms and has some pre set workouts that you can use, but I just do my 20 to 30 min on the treadmill at least 4 times per week & it is great. I can increase the speed at will if I like, or also lower it if going too fast. I have lost 20 Lbs. & feel great. If you are thinking about a treadmill
try a proform at the store - I also tried one at another store but came back to Sears as usual. It folds up as well.

Cheap, underpowered, useless January 17, 2011
I got this as a gift. Had to make 4 trips to Sears before they found it and then assembly was miserable. As others have stated it has really poorly made hardware. The screws have random sizes, none of the screwdrivers fit.
Once assembled it was both noisy and too underpowered to use at under 4 or 5 mph. I am a 6'4" 220lb guy, I am not small, but certainly within reasonable limits for a treadmill. The belt has been adjusted and either slips or binds the motor. I cant possibly use this safely and its going back. Been on plenty of treadmills that run smoothly for a reasonable price. This is not one of them.
Id skip the hassle and pick something else.

Heart rate grips don't work well,No support for using iFIT LiveI love this treadmill! I love the preset programs for endurance and calorie burning. I love that I can plug my iPod directly into the treadmill and listen to my music without having to worry about my ear phones falling out of my ears while I run!
