NordicTrack  T5.7 Treadmill

Take some good advice and don't buy this treadmill. After a few weeks it started making a loud noise when running. After doing some trouble shooting for the Nortic Track people over the phone I saw what the problem was. The drive belt is extremely tight and it has no tensioner. It runs directly from the motor to the front roller for the belt. Therefore when you tighten the left side of the walking belt you could possibly be tightening the drive belt even more to a certain extent because the roller shaft sits in a slot that's angled. This will eventually cause the bearings to go because of the tremendous force pulling on it. Mine lasted about 4 weeks. If you have one and haven't had the problem yet, you will, trust me. I see this as a problem that's going to happen over and over again so I'm returning mine and getting a Sole. You truly get what you pay for.

IT'S AN OKAY PRODUCT FOR ME. IT'S DURABLE ENOUGH FOR 170 LBS. SOMETIMES A LIL SQUEAKY, BUT IT COMES AND GOES. DID NOT LIKE THE IDEA OF PAYING MONTHLY FOR THE EXTRA STUFF. SO, FEATURE IS THERE BUT USELESS, CAUSE I'M NOT PAYING MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. WISH THERE WAS A FAN. SHOULD HAVE A BETTER DESIGN FOR HOLDING IPAD OR PHONE. IT GET IN THE WAY OF MONITOR.

Bought this Saturday. Took my husband 45 minutes minutes to take out of box and put together. Not sure why so many people are complaining about putting it together. My 7year old helped him. This has great features. So far it's nice and quiet. Not a fan of the 20 workouts but am looking forward to doing the IFIT. Also, it may have wheels but don't think that it's easy to move from room to room cuz it's not, at least not on carpet. I recommend this treadmill. Great value.

I knew with my tight budget that I wouldn't get the best treadmill, and this one pretty much met my expectations. Overall, it gets the job done. I am not sure that I like it any better than my old treadmill. But so far I don't hate it. I love the different programs available and the i-fit technology. I don't love how loud it is. It sounds like I am running on a board. I can hear the banging of feet over my headphones. My old treadmill was loud, but I believe this one is worse. However, unless you have neighbors to worry about then I wouldn't worry about it. I also do not love how immovable it is. My old treadmill, when folded up, was able to move on wheels, so I could move it to the corner when I was done using it. This treadmill has wheels as well, but they are not useful when trying to move the treadmill. It is a huge pain in the ****. I would recommend this treadmill for someone who doesn't have a lot of must haves on their list or is very picky,

Thought I was safe choosing the Nordic Track Brand- good quality equipment right? From day one motor would speed up/slow down without warning- this could be dangerous...called Nordic Track, they said an outside contractor would call me to "fix" my brand new tread mill within 3-5 days, it took about 12. During that time treadmill has gotten loud and full of rattles... speakers sound like an AM radio from the 1970's, heart rate monitor does not work properly. This was all within 2-3 weeks of mild use (my wife and I [118lbs. and 170 lbs.], mostly walking, once a day). I'm afraid of what might go wrong after a few months so I'm returning it. I expected more from the Nordic Track brand- I think they dropped the ball on this one.

We bought this in February and at first use it was fine, at the start, not as quite as I wanted, then on the 3rd day, it became very noisy, called Sears and they sent a repairman out and he determined that the motor was shot and needed replaced, however he said I could still use it until it was fixed, but it's even more noisy at this point and I've gotten to where I hate it. I was not to fond of the built in workouts, they don't adjust when you adjust them in the middle of a workout like my Horizon did. We ordered a different treadmill last night and are returning the NordicTrack. We bought the Sole for 799.00, which the repairman recommended as he said he's never been called out to work on one of those, hoping it will be better as it was much quieter in the store then the Nordictrack. My original treadmill was a Horizon and it was the best, Sears doesn't carry them in the stores, but I found they do sell them online, if the new one doesn't work, I will go back to the Horizon.

I have owned the treadmill for about 3 months. It was easy to assemble, with good instructions. I had a problem with the incline motor. I called the waranty phone # for service. I told them the problem I was having , they ordered the parts and had a service repairman contact me to set up a time for the repair. Treadmill was fixed and have had no problems since. Good service!

I choose to have the treadmill delivered to the store picked it up and once I got it home out of the package noticed the frame was cracked. I called Sears and after getting hung up on and put on hold several times scheduled a time for them to pickup old one and deliver new treadmill. I received second treadmill and used for about two weeks when the belt started skipping. I contacted Nordic-track they told me how to readjust the belt which I did and worked fine again for about two more weeks. Then the side panels which control the incline and speed stopped working. I contacted Nordic-track again they troubleshooted some problems with me and came to the conclusion the control panel was bad and sent me a new one. Again treadmill had to be taken apart to put on new part. Fingers crossed finally it seems to be working fine. I will say Nordic-track responds quickly when there is an issue. Also treadmill is very noisy. TV has to be on full volume to be able to hear when running.

I normally don't write reviews but this had to be said. I purchased this product for the first time for my birthday in January from Sears. Good sale...good deal, so I thought. I only had the product for three weeks until the motor started making a loud noise. I contacted Sears because I still had 30 days to return it. They didn't have a problem delivering another one a week later. Now I have only had the new one for the same amount of time and the same thing has started happening again. The motor is way too loud and all I do is walk. It seems to happen right after the incline is used. I don't trust this product. And after reading other peoples reviews about the noise, I would not purchase this product ever again. If I wanted to listen to noise when I walked, I would walk outside.

This Tradmill is Awsom bought it for my wife and I, Great Speakers Great workouts easy to assemble. price was GREAT! The only thing you need to do that nordic trak hopefully fix is add a piece of felt under all orange shock absorbers if you run it bangs a little. but felt pads fix that now can run as hard as we want no noise at all, and has a quiet motor compared to our last treadmill. You will need 2 people to assemble product.
