Kingsford Billiard Table is a primo choice in pool tables! February 12, 2010

We bought the pool table for my daughter and the whole family played if everyday for more than a month.  It gets plenty of use on the weekends when we entertain.  We enjoy hours and hours of reminiscing of the days of playing in pubs when the competition was fierce.  Now we love hours of tournaments and my fourteen year-old daughter loves "owning the table".  We have all brushed up on our skills which got a little rusty over the years.  Luckily, when you have a good quality regulation table it IS alot like riding a bike!  The kids and adults alike enjoy the competition and family bonding time. 

It arrives in many pieces, but really doesn't take more than a couple of hours to put together for one or two people.  My husband put it together himself (after just having back surgery a year ago) and only needed help when it was time to lift the top.  So, you can be playing the same day it is delivered!  The biggest problem we had was finding the exact angle and rearranging a few things in the basement to accommodate the size because it is regulation size, or pretty close to it!

The table is durable and classy looking with elegant styling.  I prefer the poster legs on this table over the pedestal type as it is easier to relocate through a narrow door jam when having to be tipped sideways.  We will probably purchase the table tennis conversion top next Christmas.  We will enjoy the table for years to come!

• i bought this table about three month ago and i have to say its a beautiful table
• but people spend a little more and get a better table i been having problem with this table
• ball roll weird so what i found the wood in the center has bad shape i had to add two 2x4 to correct the problem
• and that because i am a carpenter so shop around guys 

Great Table June 22, 2009

Love this table. My table was delivered to my home with no damages. It was very easy to put together and took about 2 hours. It does not look cheap at all. People think I paid over a thousand dollars for it. They can't beleive it when I tell them it only cost me $399.00.

Kingsford Pool table June 19, 2009

I just purchased this table June 9th, 2009. Like most of the reviews, I was a little skeptical about purchasing this table without being able to see a display model at the store. After waiting a couple more months and reading a couple more reviews that said that it was a great table for $499.00 I decided that I would order it and pick it up at the store. The table was on sale and still is for $399!!!! When I picked up the table at the store I had the store employees open the box up in the back of my pick up truck and noticed right away a slight scratch across the top of one of the bumpers. I called the 800 number for Sportcraft right there in the parking lot and they assured me that a replacement was being shipped out and would arrive in 5-7 days. Boy, was I surprised when it arrived by Fedex in 2 days! Unfortunately, it was the wrong bumper so I called Sportcraft back and they sent a new replacement (Fedex of course) which just arrived and again is the wrong bumper!( I now have the replacement bumpers for bumpers that are ok on the table.... :)...) I just called and they will be sending another bumper ( I wonder how Sportcraft makes money on this table when they are so free to send replacement parts!) The table took me about 2 hours to put together and required help with the top as it's the heaviest piece. The table legs are fantastic knock off plastic pieces that look like real wood. At first I thought that I would break them when I had to snap then together but they are durable plastic pieces. The table looks great and for $399...I have no grounds to complain over a couple scratches, specially when my 7 year old will no doubt scratch it anyway's! The cue sticks are a bit light but hey, what do you expect for $399. In my opinion, for $399 to $499, this is the perfect beginner table and I'm completely impressed with Sportcraft!
