This product has provided hours of fun. very good gift for my 12 yr old son, however, my husband and I enjoy it as much or more. We assembled it in about 1 hr. It is sturdy. Tall and long and would fit well in a bonus room. Good for preteens to adults. The elctronic score keeper if very loud and you are not able to lower the volume. We just don't even use that. Good birthday gift or Christmas present for any boy

I bought this electronic basketball shootout for my son for christmas. Sears had it on sale at a great price and as much as my son loves basketball, he now can play indoors when its raining. Considering the price ( $69 on sale) This was a great deal and took very little time to setup. I was able to assemble the whole thing in a little over an hr. Although it calls for two people two put together, you dont need to people to do it, just take your time. The only negative thing i didn't like about it was that the backboard is made out of cheap particle board; would have been nice if it had been fiber glass or some other strong material (thats why it recieves only 4 stars). If you are looking for some great 1-on-1 shootout, then this is the goal for you. It has a scoreboard that keeps score for both players giving them each 30 seconds to get off as many shots/points as possible. you get 3 points for every basket once the clock gets down to 10 seconds. It comes with 3 mini basketballs which is great so u r never without a ball and the sensor is very accurate, there is no way to cheat the game unless u get right beside the rim and just keep dropping the ball in the rim, but hey who wants to do that! So yeah i truly recommend this goal. It also folds up so if you are not playing and need the extra space. My 10yr old son and I have played for hrs since I setting this up... GO BUY ONE!!!
