JOOLA  Infinity 2 Piece S-25 Table Tennis Table

As an engineer was looking for a quality table that was not only built to survive the use and abuse I anticipate my teenagers will be dishing out during future table tennis play, but also wanted a table that would look good. I found both in the Infinity S-25. Would definitely recommend having unit delivered unless you are willing to carry this ~300 lb monster to its final resting place. And while the instructions could have definitely been a bit clearer, on the whole they were not too bad by today's standards. Quality of packaging was good and all the parts were segregated and clearly labelled. All you will need to assemble is a metric socket set, wrench, and Phillips head screwdriver. Oh, don't forget, make sure you have at least three (3) adults available to support assy and that two of those three individuals need to be able to dead lift each table half (approx 100 lbs .... or so) approx 36" off the ground in the final stages of assy. Definitely pleased with the purchase !!

I just bought this table 2 weeks ago, and the exprience is great. Assembly Insturction is a bit confusing and unclear. However, these ball marks are not that noticeble and do not affect the play or reflection. I also notice the balls don't bounce as high as the professional JOOLA tables like 3000SC that I play in my club. The table will still provide fast and even bounce but just feel like lower bounce than the proffesional ITTF tables. This table is heavy duty and sturdy, but it has large 4" casters that it's easy to move around and stowed. For around $500, it's probably the best value you can find that compares to JOOLA World Cup or other tables with similar features but much higher cost. If you are seriously into the game of table tennis but dont' like to spend big bucks for a proffesional table, then this Joola Infinity S25 is the perfect choice for you with great value and beautiful ball bounce.

I bought this table last month. It has been a great experience to play with -- solid, even bounce, nice looking, easy to fold up...... It does have some ball marks on the surface after a couple weeks playing. A friend in our club told me that the ball marks were normal on tables. It happens on even $2000+ tables, too.

I did find the assembly instructions to be lacking in clarity, but overall the assembly didn't take much more than an hour. My problem was that after four days the entire top surface began to blister and de-laminate in bubbles about the size of a quarter. There are about 50 such bubbles that protrude about 1/8" from the surface. This makes playing impossible as the ball will veer off wildly. I bought Joola, with purpose, as their quality is supposed to be sound. With only a 30 day return policy I would not take a replacement, opting for a refund instead. Just curious if I'll be refunded the delivery charges as well? I'll know Friday. Sears has been good in the past so I am not passing judgment.

Took longer to assemble than expected (lousy instructions) & far heavier than I thot. It's quality is obvious & it seems like it'll hold up to all the abuse my son & I are planning to inflict on it.

Bought November 2010. After almost 1 year, it still looks wonderful in my garage with this 1 inch top/solid legs and performs great. I'll tell you it is not easy to put them togather. Four guys spent 3 hours assembling this havey baby. Still too havey for ONE person to put it up for storage. With the cost only half of other similars, I can not say too much about it. Only complain is the surface paint transfer to balls. For a while, at least the first two month plays, all white ping pong balls became blueness. Good thing is that paint stays now and does not transfer to balls any more. Given a 4.5 stars since the initial paint transfer.

Very good and sturdy design....and a beauty to play on. Hard to see why some reviews are bad.

The Joola Infinity table I bought from Sears has a major problem. The blue paint on the table comes off easily on the balls. I play in clubs and on lots of tables and I have never seen that happen before. I contacted Joola and they said they are aware of it happening on some tables but they consider it a minor problem and will do nothing about it. I was attracted to the 1" top and the sturdy build but none of that matters if the paint comes off the table.

The store had a Sportcraft Spectrum and a Joola Infinity sitting side by side. Even with the $200 price difference, there really wasn't a comparison. The Spectrum table flexes if you put any weight on the end and the sheet metal around the edges doesn't seem to help much. On the other hand, you can dance on a Joola table. It has a tubular steel frame and sturdy legs with wide feet and leveling screws. Foldup is easy and it rolls smoothly on large wheels.

The packaging was beat up to the point where the guy at the dock had me come back to see if I still wanted it. I couldn't see any spots were the product was damaged so I gave him the thumbs up. This is a two-piece 25mm table so it's huge and heavy. It took three guys to roll/slide it off the dock into the back of my truck where it sat at an angle and hung over a few inches. When we got it home, we opened the package right in the truck and brought in the pieces seperately. The individual table pieces still require at least two people to move them.

Assembly was quick and easy, only requiring a 14mm socket, a 13mm wrench, and a medium phillips screwdriver. Loading the table pieces into the slides requires three people. I ended up dinging the surface a little bit in one spot when I dropped a socket wrench. Otherwise the only damage I found was a small paint scrape on one of the legs that was probably shipping damage but not worth complaining about.

The table is consistent and has a good bounce. A common complaint about the Joola Infinity tables is that the paint from the table transfers to the balls during play. I can verify that this happens. Nothing major though. No dings or chips, just a faint blue shade transferred after an hour or so of play. Overall, we are very satisfied with our new table.

Despite a small chip near the net, I would definitely recommend this table, just not from Sears.

The Sears' order department, delivery department, installation department, and parts department do not effectively communicate with each other. They operate as if separate companies. We ordered this ping pong table because the Sears order department assured us that they could deliver the table the following Friday and set it up on Saturday. After many calls to the installation department, they finally arrived 11 days later than promised at their convenience. The installers said they would arrive between 3 and 7 pm. They finally arrived at 8:20 pm. They said it would take 20 minutes to set-up. They didn't leave until 10pm. A few screws were missing and we were informed we had to call to order the parts. After being on hold for too long with Sears, I called Joola directly. They were great. They sent me the missing parts really fast. Joola says the table should take 1.5 hours to assemble. We purchased it because it is a highly recommended brand, it has wheels, and it has adjustable feet. Opening it is not as easy as the directions indicate. You need to just jiggle it a little and lift the feet to get it to open. It seems very sturdy. It is easy to wheel from where we're storing it to where we use it. The net is easy to set-up.
