Mongoose XR250 26" Mens Mountain Bike
great bike for the price.runs smooth and easy to shift gears.rear brakes are a little cheap would be nice to have a rear disc then it would be prefect!

Disappointed but Optimistic
I purchased the bike for Christmas and had only rode it in my neighborhood until I felt comfortable with the gear shifts, suspension, brakes, etc... After having it for 2 weeks, I rode it on a dirt trail for 15 minutes before the rod holding the pedal fell off. I was fortunate that I was not hurt since it fell off as I had reached the top of a hill. I had to walk my bike back home over a mile because there was no way to repair the damage.
Overall I like the design and handle of the bike but was very disappointed that the rod broke off after the 1st more aggressive bike trail. I exchanged the bike for the same one in hopes that it was a one time defect on that specific bike, but just in case I bought the Replacement warranty.
