Sturdy and I love it,recommend!!

This stepper is okay. We've had it for a couple years -- my husband uses it at least four times a week. I use it only as a last resort. It gives an okay workout, but the noise drives me crazy! It creaks a lot -- nothing WD40 will fix, just the metal creaking. I wish I coulld find some home exercise equipment that worked well.

I bought this stepper about a year and a half ago to inspire me to work out regularly.  I do use it - probablyl more than a lot of people that buy home work-out equipment that turns into expensive clothing wracks and end up on **** or Claiglist before too long. 

Have to admit I've had a couple problems though - right away the sensor stopped working.  They replaced the cable and that didn't work and then replaced the sensor and it worked for awhile.  Now it's sort of hit and miss.  Hard to keep track of steps, time and calories burned when it continuously and randomly resets itself.  I've taken to just watching a different clock or manually counting if I really need to know, otherwise, I just work out as long as I can.

Have not tried the "fold and stow" ability of it - I pretty much just leave it setup in my room all the time.  The mechanisms do heat up and function smoother as your on it.  Usually I'll go about 200 steps, take a brief break and then hit it hard and it's fine.

Like I said, you get what you pay for - not fancy, not luxurious, just efficient and buggy.

I purchased this stepper mostly because of the reviews, which were so excellent. I used the stair masters in the gym and I find this machine to be just as good. The only drawback is that one must get off the machine and manually change the speed, so doing a single workout at varied speeds would prove to be tedious. But for the price, it is definitely a great machine. The timer also doesn't work properly and keeps resetting after 10 minutes, along with the number of steps climbed.

I think 5 star rating is not enough for this product ... It is AWESOME!... SEARS did a great job ...it arrived ahead of schedule.. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to work out! In my opinion It is more efficient than those exensive steppers at gym !!!!

This stepper was very easy to get started on. It works great, easy to move and store. It works the same as the ones at the gym. I would recommend to all my friends and family!

The stepper arrived several days ahead of schedule which was fantastic. I have been using it ever since and am starting to see results. I have knee and hip issues and was very hopeful that this product would be low impact. I set the resistance on the highest setting and have had no problems. The steps start a little stiff, but smooth out quickly as the hydraulics warm up. I started with 100 steps and now step for 20 mins. usually in two sessions with resistance exercise between. At this point, the twenty minute total is usually around 600 steps. I really like the digital readout info. and find it very helpful. Also, I wouldn't have one without the arms for support. The machine seems very durable and my husband had it together in twenty mins. or so. We both think it's a great stepper for the money. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to build strength in the legs and thighs. I'm sure it helps the rear too, but that remains to be seen...

I bought this because it was so inexpensive. Now here's what I like about it: It's small and can stay in my living room. It has nothing electric, so no noise and no cords. The counter automatically resets to zero after each use. The easiest level is perfect to start. It has rubber feet and doesn't scratch my hardwood floor. It is very light.

This was the best gift I could have gotten for myself or anyone for that matter. It was very easy to assemble and works better than most stair steppers at the gym! I get an awesome workout in the privacy of my own home and it was very reasonable cost wise. Don't waste your money on over priced stair steppers just because they have all the extra gadgets, this one does the job, trust me!-a VERY satisfied customer:))

Great low impact workout. Been using since Feb, have lost 10 lbs. and kept it off. Easy to move, store and use. Any problems with knees or hips was when moved around (side to side) and that was my fault.
