    The bike is quiet,This bike is well made

    I was looking for a spin bike that wouldn't break the bank. I read several reviews of other products in this price range but there were complaints about quality and noise. I then found the NordicTrack GX2 which had good reviews so I decided to buy it. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and I had it put together in about 30 minutes. The bike is well built. I use it while I'm watching TV and it's quiet. I have seen some comments about the saddle being uncomfortable. As with any bike I wear padded bike shorts and the saddle is fine with these. If you are looking for a good quality spin bike at a reasonable price I recommend this.

    As good as the $1500 bike at the gym!

    Excellent bike! I am very pleased with my purchase. The bike was a breeze to put together, it only took about a half an hour and I did it by myself. The ride is as smooth and challenging as the $1500 bike at the gym. The only issue I have is that it is not made for the shorter person. I am a 5'2 woman and I struggle a little. I have the seat as far forward as it will go and at the lowest height. The handle bars ar still a little too far forward. I had to move them closer to me by putting the furthest screw in the nearest hole and using it that way. They are still just as stable as they were with having both screw in place, but you shouldn't have to do that. Overall this was a fantastic purchase and I have recommended the bike to many people.

    I am new to spinning and purchased this spin bike with the hopes of getting on it every day because of the rave reviews of spin class. I refuse to pay for gym membership when I can own my equipment for the price of an annual membership fee. I am quite sure that I can grow to love this equipment if I find the right beginners dvd to follow. The instructions for attaching the seat is awful. Thank goodness I am mechanically inclined. The seat is not comfortable at all. Must purchase a gel padded seat cover or padded biker shorts. Thank goodness I purchased the seat cover before the bike arrived. Overall, the quality of the equipment is tops. Very sturdy and will stand the test of time... As usual, Norditrack will upgrade this product and offer more versions later on. They always get better with time. Being as though this is the first offered, you may want to wait until they offer the dvd and heart monitor which should be included at no additional charge. But of course, we all know that is a laughing matter to expect anything free.
