The Proctor-Silex Digital 12-Cup Coffeemaker is heaven.
The Proctor-Silex Digital 12-Cup Coffeemaker is phenomenal. It is easy to operate, program for automatic brew, and clean-up. If I'd only known -- so many mornings I'd wasted on inferior products. The coffee comes out piping hot after the brew, and the warming plate and carafe keeps the remaining coffee hot and tasty. There is absolutely no way you can brew a BAD cup of coffee unless you use another product.

very nice look but that is all, after 15 minutes the coffe was not done. While cooking excesive steam came from the top making it impossible to use under a cabinet. I bought this yesterday it is going back today. Poor quality even for the money claims to be 12 cup but pot is so small it would never make it.

Picked this up on black friday for $10. After using it for 6 months, I can say that it's just average; 3 stars. It doesn't seem to heat the water up enough, so it brews mediocre coffee. It's worth 10 bucks, though.

Cold coffee 3 ounces at a time.
Dissapointed. 1. Once I add the milk, my coffee is room temp. 2. 12 oz. of water poured in the reservoir give 10 oz. of brewed coffee after evaporation. 3. A cup of coffee is only 4 ounces?? I have to make 3 cups to fill the mug I used to fill with just 2 cups in my old coffee maker. 4. Luckily, I don't need the programmable feature, because if I follow the safety directions and unplug the pot when done using it, the clock reverts to flashing zeros again. 5. The 1-4 cup feature does nothing to make the coffee stay hot, nor does it affect the strength of my coffee. I tried making my 3 cups both with and without using that feature. 6. I have a feeling the spring that opens and closes the hole in the basket won't last very long, and there is always coffee left in the basket under the filter bercause of that same spring system and tilted basket. Like I said, I'm dissapointed, and will not buy another Proctor-Silex coffee maker. (BTW I have a good Proctor-Silex toaster.)

Bought this for my mother as a xmas gift. She likes it and hasn't had any problems. Got it on BF sale, so that made it much more worth it.

Programmable Coffee Maker
Great coffee maker. Great price. Good size for counter. Smaller than most and makes 12 cups. Easy to fill water reservoir and coffee. Easy to clean. Easy to set time and timer. Lightweight. Great kitchen clock. Green set button makes great nightlight.

Failed on first try
The plastic filter basket would not sit correectly in the coffeemaker, and the first run with just water overflowed all over the counter. Either there is a part missing to keep the filter basket from tilting, or it is just poorly made.
