Kenmore  6-Slice Convection Toaster Oven, White

I have been cooking for about 50 yrs. . Once toaster ovens first came out I owned one. Had many in my time. This is the best I have ever used (that is not a commercial one) . I have had it for about 8 months now . Use it everyday from baking to broiling and even making Pizza. Never had a problem with it . Controls are easy to use and see. The best part is it is easy to clean. From burnt on cheese from that dripping pizza to grease from broiling. Whatever the finish is , it's great. Just a well make item. If you need an everyday toaster over this is it.

This is a fantastic toaster oven. It is very sleek looking and you can get it with either white or black sides/top. The timer took a little getting used to, and per the directions, you have to turn the timer to 20 mins, then back to the desired setting for it to time correctly for shorter settings. Ours works perfectly but with some odd fan noise when first cooking using the Bake setting. Excellent value when on sale!

This item is unique, stainless steel front, white back. Anyway, it works wonderfully so far. Hopefully it will hold up through our kitchen reno. Cooked marinated chicken tenders for approx 30 mins on bake and they were perfect. Cooked evenly and thoroughly.

We replaced our old 6 slice toaster oven with this convection/toaster oven. Our old was in great working shape. We just wanted one that was not all stainless steel. I guess you would say we replaced it for cosmetic reasons. But we love our new one so much better! Our old one we would have to turn the tray around half way through to get even cooking. We do not have to do that with our new one! So far, we love our new one! We can cook a lot of things in it! It saves on the energy bill!

Our family is very satisfied with this toaster oven. We purchased it to replace a much larger toaster oven that was nice because of the features like a rotisserie and the fact that it fit a whole pizza, but just took up too much counter space and wasn't cooking things as fast as it used to. This model, which has convection, heats everything so fast that the first few times we toasted bread we burned it to a crisp! While the wasted bread wasn't a great thing, once we adjusted to the speed, we really grew to love this oven because of the speed. It doesn't have a ton of fancy features, but it looks nice, doesn't take up a ton of counter space, and does what it should do. We use it to cook, reheat, toast, broil, and so much more. It has saved us a ton of time and energy over using our traditional oven.

As other have stated this oven heats very fast however lacks a precise timer. The manufacucter cheaped out and instead of providing one timer for baking and one for toasting they combined the timer resulting in a annoying imprecise toaster timer. It simply has to much time to allow you to accuratly control your toast time. Normally such small thing would make a differance but given it's fast heating this oven really needs a dedicated timer for toasting. The timer itself has so much time on it that even an 1/8 of an inch differance in the timer postioning results in a untoasted or burnt bun.

Additionly due to the square shape checking on the item you are toasting requires opening to door resulting in a loss of heat and subsequently longer toasting.

If you find yourself mostly using your toaster oven as an oven this may be an excellent choice for you. But if you mostly are looking to toast things move one and keep looking. 

I used it to toast garlic bread, bake chicken, bake a lemon cake ( two 9" pans) and reheat leftovers. It works great. And its faster than my smaller, older toaster oven. The nice design is appealing. I have always trusted Kenmore appliances: refrigerators, washers, drier. A good brand. I trust it to provide me with excellent results.

I will never buy another toaster oven again. We bought this item in December. This can cook all kinds of things in half the time. We have cooked pop tarts, hot pockets, fries, begal bites, pizza, and more. Everything ends up perfectly cooked, brown on the top and cooked evenly in the inside. If the item fits then we use the toaster oven instead of our conventional oven. We have even tried cooking the biggest pizza that could find. We were able to cook a Digiorno pizza. We could barely close the lid but it cooked the pizza perfectly. This convection oven is so much faster than a regular toaster oven. Depending on the pizza you can have it done in 10-15 minutes. If you use it for poptarts I wouldn't walk away for very long, we made that mistake once. I would recommend this to anyone. It is well worth the price.
