Presto  FlipSide Waffle Maker

I was using a regular plastic Belgian waffle maker and my friend loaned me her new Presto Flipside Belgian waffle maker. Wow! What a difference it made! I used a Belgian waffle store-bought mix and the waffles were so much thicker and lighter than from my old waffle maker. I was very impressed with the short cook time and the crispness of the waffles. I also used the recipe in the instructions.  I've been making waffles almost every Sunday now and hoping my friend won't ask for it back soon.

Presto Flipside(TM) Belgian Waffle Maker is a good value for the money and makes great waffles that my family enjoys. Sears had a very good price for the product.

A fun waffle maker! As long as you follow the instructions, and are willing to pitch the first waffle you make you'll love this machine. It is eas to use, makes a great waffle and is easy to clean as well. It takes up very little room on your counter, and since it can be stored in a narrow configuration it is easy to find space for.

Your kids will like watching you make waffles in this one, and again, as long as you follow instructions you will really enjoy it! 

This product is great.  I was staying at a hotel in Biloxi and they had a waffle maker on the breakfast line and I was hooked so I had to get one for my home.  It is simple to use, fool proof even.  My kids love making waffles on Sundays for breakfast now.

Bought this for my brother-in-law for Christmas.  He used it the next day and just loves it. He made my sister a waffle and one for himself. He loves the flip design.

Growing up we never had a waffle maker but I loved waffles.  We had our store bought Eggo waffles and figured that's how waffles taste like and it was good enough for me.  Then I went away to college and in the dorm cafeterias they had belgium waffle makers.  There I discovered the wonders of homemade fresh waffles and been craving a waffle maker ever since.

Flash forward to Christmas 2009 and I received this as a gift! Awesome! This waffle makes full size Belgium waffles (the kind that fill your whole plate).  Making waffles is simple enough. If you used a George Foreman grill you can use this.  Just preheat, make your mix, spray with some Pam, pour, wait 4 minutes and viola!  The only gripe I have about this maker is that its timer isn't powered by the unit itself.  Its basically a stand alone time that operates on a AAA battery.  I think that's quite weird.  Why can't the unit power the timer on its own? Other than that its fantastic!

National Presto Flipside Belgian Waffle Maker has been a staple in our kitchen for a short while, but as the pancake and waffle maker in our home, I get a joy in using this product the most.

It is so easy to make waffles without burning my self because of the ease in flipping the Presto Flipside. I get the best cooking time in waffle making as I do at least a dozen or more in short order.

The clean up is just as easy, the waffle cooking plates come off and are put right into the dish washer and storing does not take up a lot of room.

This waffle maker makes great waffles and is very easy to use. Each waffle takes about 3-4 minutes to cook, and you only need a small brush and/or damp cloth to clean afterwards.

I replaced a very old waffle iron with this unit last month. My son, who loves waffle, attests that they are excellent. Features that I really like are the timer and the flip design. This has made my waffles nearly automatic. The unit heats in less then five minutes and cook to a golden brown in 4 minutes. It really is very well engineered. I also like the high quality non stick surface which can be cleaned with a paper towel (instructions say NEVER scrub with even a Teflon safe pad). If you are looking for a fast and consistent unit, this is it.

I am not impressed with this waffle maker. I like to use whole wheat or oatmeal in my pancakes and waffles and this maker over cooked both of my recipes. The outside was almost burnt by the time the inside was cooked. I tried it three times and each time they were not very good. You can't adjust the heat level to accomodate a longer cooking waffle. I was also disapoined with the mechanism that holds the maker upright for storage. It is a little plastic lever that simply flips up to hold the unit upright. The lever itself does not lock in place. It is a great concept, but not very sturdy. The third time I tried to use it I pulled it out of my pantry and set it on the cabinet. The little lever slipped off and the top part of the maker fell onto the cabiner and shattered the little plastic guard that holds it off of the cabinet while in use. Without the guard, the hot part of the maker will be sitting directly on my cabinet. Glad I saved my reciept becasue this one is going back!
