    Wow. That is the best I can say. I received this as a gift from my husband and kids about 5 years ago. You will find yourself pulling this out on nights you just want a quick meal because making pasta takes less time the boiling the water and only a few minutes to cook. You also know exactly what is in your pasta. No more white floor but whole grain floor or maybe add spinach to it, or herb pasta. I love it we have Pasta day at least once a month now and have since I got it. My kids love helping to feed the dough into it and then cutting extra long pasta noodles. Family night is Pasta night in my house.

    I love it! I've made homemade pasta a few times always lots of work--this cut the time in half--amazing product. You will be hooked once you try it. Go to a restaurant that makes it's own pasta and taste how amazing pasta can be--then you will want this!!!

    I've tried pasta extruders and hand crank rollers and cutters, but these Kitchen Aid attachments are just so easy to use and make an excellent pasta. The only secret is getting your dough mixed at the right proportions. The included recipes make perfect dough, although it does seem rather dry at first. Once you start sending it thru the roller and folding it over it comes out perfect. I'll be using the attachments for a very long time. As far as cleaning, just let the dough dry and brush out the next morning. Easy clean up with the supplied brush.

    We have the hand crank Marcato Atlas Pasta Maker and like it, but hand cranking was a bit of a pain, and finding somewhere solid to clamp it to was even more so in our kitchen. We love our kitchenaid mixer and most of its attachments (the citrus juicer is so-so), so when we saw this, we were intrigued. A few reviews had said it was not heavy duty, so I was relieved when we opened it and saw it was "made in Italy". It is clearly made by Marcato and is virtually identical to the Marcato Atlas Pasta Maker except it has a spot to attach to the mixer instead of attaching a hand crank. It is made with lots of steel and feels very heavy duty. We've made several patches of pasta and all were as good as the handcranked ones, but a lot easier and faster to make, especially since you can use two hands to feed the pasta into the machine. Now we are enjoying hand made pasta much more frequently, and so are our guests. I highly recommend it.
