The Colormate Mission Futon is stylish. April 13, 2011
The only complaint we have with this futon is the amout of manpower it takes to put it back in to the couch position. It takes at least 2 people to do it. Overall we like it. It is very stylish. We bought an egg crate foam piece to put under the mattress and that has helped the comfort tremendously.

As of right now i am not too happy. i recieved my futon and started putting it together and discovered that the front wooden support beam was split. i called the company and left a message for contact and as of right now they have not gotten back to me...prolly because it is the weekend. i will wait to see how this company handles this issue before i put them on blast. with a terrible review. if the send me the part i need to actually have a functional futon then all is well so we will wait and see...stay tuned

Super Heavy,Weird smellI've had this futon for a few days now and I love it!! It looks great and is pretty comfortable.I bought it for a spare bedroom which is now my boyfriends man cave and it fits perfectly. Easy enough to assemble considering I did it by myself. The only complaint I have is that it is super heavy and the mattress has a weird smell. Hopefully that will wear off soon. Overall it's a great value and I'm glad I bought it.

Super Heavy,Quality,Used/Improperly Stored PeicesI am not pleased, AT ALL. When putting it together we had some difficulty matching up the holes for the front support beam, but eventually got it. On top of that all the screws stripped very easily.
Also the backing for the couch was slightly worn and looks used, but it was such a pain I originall decided to live with it.
It's been a month and I've mostly been the one to sit on it (my 100 lb self) and heard a horrible cracking noise. Upon inspection I found the wooden support beam cracking from both sides! Mostly on the side I don't usually sit in, it's really bad. I'm looking into getting a replacement/refund but the thing was such a hassle as the mattress is so heavy and I don't know how I'm going to get the screws undone.

Super HeavyI bought this futon when it was on sale. My step-daughter picked it out to be her new bed. I feel that I got a good deal. It really seems sturdy and somewhat comfortable. I just got it today so I havent really had a chance to break in it and find any flaws. This thing is a serious pain to put together. I would suggest having an extra set of hands around to help. The box that it comes in is super heavy too! Oh and also, I had store pick-up. I had to wait 25 minutes for Sears to find it out back. They lost it. I would suggest dilevery. Overall good though.
