Farberware Cookware  FW Classic 10 PC Set SS

I purchased these pans and the first time I used them, the covers loosened constantly. I call Faberware to see if I could get the metal covers and they no longer make the stainless steel covers for these pans.

I purchased this cookware set and love it!!!  It's a little smaller than I expected but perfect for my needs.  It's made well, very good quality, cooks even..."easy to clean" and looks fantastic!!  I love Farberware!!

Replaced a 10 year old Cooks Essentials set with this one. Couldn't be happier. It's old school, but it works. I'm happy I chose this set, rather than a more expensive one.

I purchased my Farberware set about 2 months ago and I could not be happier!  I love the fact that the handles and lids are cool to the touch, as that is not always the case with lids such as these.  They clean up very easily, as well as being dishwasher safe.  The pots are nice sizes, however the one thing I found a little disappointing was that the frying pans are on the small size.  I did end up purchasing a large frying pan separately.  Overall, for the quality and price point...they are a great value!

I relocated to another state in 1986 and bought many replacement cooking items which started with a Farberware sale at Kmart. Now in 2010 I feel I got great value and performance from this set of Farberware.

I buy many items based on a single need in mind and the first thing that struck me was the way Farberware lids sealed juices under the lid. One of my needs was a fairly large pot for cooking rice in family quantity and the 3 qt was perfect. I never grabbed a hot handle or removed a lid that was hot to the touch.

I used the 2 qt and 1 qt so much that I went back and got a second of these two sizes. The pots and pans were all light in weight yet strong and many times over the years pieces were dropped and never a scratch was registered on any piece.

Eventually this set was expanded with two 12 inch covered skillets and I could not count the perfect meals they have prepared for more than 20 years.

In my youth every woman on the block owned either Farberware or Revere Ware and in this day of chic designer cooksets with Rachael and Emerils name nestled sweetly in the $ 300 range it is nice to know that some "classic" cooksets still perform just as well at 1/4 the price. When ask whose set I am using I say "Bubbas" !

Recently one of the handles broke on a 12 inch skillet and Farberware customer service was simply outstanding to work with. I felt like somebody was willing to pleasantly work for my business. Problem was fixed quickly and correctly.

If you are "chic-a-fied" and can only buy designer names then great but if you are on a budget yet want quality long lived products then give Farberware your buck. Individual pieces are everywhere and you can buy package units or single pieces as your wallet dictates. This is one "old school" product still capable of delivering the goods.

These pots and pans have been around for over 35 years. I know, I am still using the pieces I bought in 1972. They are not as fashionable as some of the new gourmet sets. But you can't beat the value. They cook evenly, the handles stay cool, and the lids seal the pans tightly. They maintain their mirrorlike finish after many years of daily use. If you are looking for a reliable set to get you started, get these. If you want to upgrade later, you haven't wasted your money.
