I'm Impressed! February 17, 2009
Being a nurse wearing cotton uniforms, I am certainly impressed with this garment steamer. 100% cotton warmup jacket full of wrinkles coming out of the dryer...this steamer took ALL the wrinkles out! No need for an iron and ironing board anymore. Filled to the max, it was a bit of a slow start, but I completed 10 items in less than 20 minutes. with half a tank of water left over. I even steamed two pair of scrubs (tops & bottoms) to perfection. Gurgling in tube - held tube up in the air - gurgling disappeared. Good amount of steam; no cutting out and no leaks or water on my clothing. Only improvement I can think of would be a place to secure the nozzle on the overdoor hanger when switching garments. I highly recommend this one...both for the price and the performance.

Not what I expected November 21, 2006
I bought this steamer thinking it would steam away just about any garment I owned. After using this product I can only conclude that this product works only on light/thin clothing. It just did not product enough steam pressure to eliminate heavier wrinkles. An attractive price but poor performance.

Not the best, but what can you expect from a 20-30 dollar steamer when the next step up is $100+ . I just wish sears carried or conair made a steamer a little more high quality, for under $100. But over all it works and is good!

Doesn't "press,Not good for cotton or linenI bought this a couple of years ago. You cannot expect to use it for everything that has to be pressed such as a cotton shirt. You can use it to take wrinkles out of something that doesn't require a pressed or pleated look such as knits. So if you are looking to replace steam ironing with this product,, don't expect that. Why buy it, you ask? Some items are a lot easier to steam out while hanging such as a dress or a pair of pants. You can put the nozzle on the inside of the garment and steam it from the inside out. Some items are already pressed but look wrinkled from being folded or the way they were hung. This is great for quickly getting stuff to look smart without going through all the hassles of getting out the iron, filling it with water, arranging it on an ironing board and on and on. Great for delicate fabric.

The reason I bought it was to kill mites or bugs...It gets very very hot must be over 120 degrees for sure. I've only had it one day. I steamed items such as my purses, baskets, etc. Also tried it on a button shirt and it worked great. It's very hot, compact and seems to be durable. I'm happy with it so far.
