Okay so Ive been searching for a new blender and I wanted something that was dishwasher safe and one you didnt have to stop and shake it so it will blend. This blender is the best1 Hands down! As soon as I got it, I took it home and pluged it in and said lets do the ice test. I took 2 handfuls of ice and blended it and bam! we got snow! Then I made dinner and put in big chunks of ginger root, and bam! We got liquid ginger! I reccomend this blender to everyone! You will not be let down. Even the blades come apart from the bottom of the glass to you can wash it all seperate! I put it in the dishwasher and I didnt get any rust! I love my new blender!

I purchased this item yesterday because it was on sale. Once I got it home and tried putting it together the base and jug do not sit correctly no matter which way you turn it. I suggest you purchase another item if you want a good blender.

Love this blender!
Besides it looking sleek and nice, it works great! I bought it online, so I read many reviews before I made my decision. Someone did say it gave off a smell... it does. It is a faint oil smell... not sure if it is because I am over-blending? Other than that, I love this blender! It is glass, so it is a bit heavy. I use it almost every day to make my breakfast smoothies with lots of frozen fruits; blends quickly :)

I bought this for myself as my old Waring blender finally was unuseable after many long years of service. I have already used this in the preparation of Potato pancakes and it works as well as my old Waring..I am looking forward to years of good service from this blender.
