somewhat poor constructionBuyer with intent to use this chair around small children BEWARE. Our almost-3 year old guest's elbow was small enough to fit and got stuck on that top gap of chair. It was a tense minute but we managed to unstuck the poor child's elbow. We had to wrap the gap with a towel after that. The chair has a 200-lb weight limit so be extra careful as well. The chairs went nicely with our outdoor party decor but I am not expecting the chairs to last indefinitely. The construction reflects the price. Globs of dried wood glue is visible on some areas. This chair was on sale when I bought it ( I think it was around 15-dollars). I wished I had the chance to see the chair before buying it. Otherwise, I would have reconsidered buying it.
