Do not use outdoorsPresto 16" Electric skillet with glass cover.It fries, grills, stews,bakes, make casseroles,and more.It It also have a non-stick surface for stick free cooking and It very easy to clean for best care use nylon,plastic,wooden,or rubber utensils,metal utensils may scratch the nonstick surface.It has a temperature controll for frying,Braising, roasting,stewing,and backing.It even has a holding temperature after cooking period.(warm) It is very easy to assemble food may be prepare with little or no oil. After use you can wash the skillet and the cover in the dishwasher or warm sudsy water,do not immerse control master heat control in water.This appliance has a limited warranty.My husband and I feel that we made a good investment. We love cooking with appliance.

I bought this to replace an old cast iorn skillet. I did not want to spend the time trying to season another skillet. This is the best it fries, bakes makes sauces, fries eggs or pancakaes or anything try it you will like it
