Quick and Handy
I saw the infomercial for this product and it looked like something very useful. I am limited on kitchen/countertop space and a blender is very bulky and a pain to use. Plus, I like smoothies and coffee drinks. It looked perfect for me. I read online reviews and there was about half negative and half positive. I was confused whether or not I should buy it. My local TV station did a consumer product test on it and they said it was a great product. After thinking about it, and finding the product at my local Walgreens store, I decided to "bite the bullet" and buy the bullet. Haha. I tried about 5 recipes from the booklet (after I read the ENTIRE instruction/recipe book) and I was very impressed with it. I think that the negative reviews are from those people who "do" first and read directions later. This is not a typical blender and should not be operated as one. Broke after the 3 rd use
I tried to make a smoothie, put 3 frozen strawberries in to start and some milk .....press Pulse Pulse Pulse and bingo. It stopped with a noise. I lifted the cup out and i saw the black round plastic piece was broke in 3 pieces. I am very very very upset! Wwhat am i supposed to do with the rest of the stuff without a useless base ?

I have this item, sorry for me. Does poor job of blending. Need to puree food for a medical problem and this guy does not puree in any way, shape or form. Don't waste your money. . . . . . . . . . . . . .!!!

My Sister had one a few years ago and absolutly loved it for grinding herbsm oatmeal and even coffee. The salsa is easy drop in the ingredients and pulse a few time and it done!

A Worthwhile purchase!
I bought this to make shakes and it does so much more. My family has appreciated the guacomole and has learned to make it. I have ground seeds and herbs. There is no end of uses of this powerful little thing. Everything but the motor is machine washable, so that's a plus. The only thing I would want is measuring lines on the cups. I keep drawing them on with a Sharpie, but they wear off quickly in the wash.
