Nuwave Oven  1500 Watt Oven Pro

We bought a Nuwave oven over a year ago. We've never had any trouble with it and it does a great job of cooking just about everything. Hamburgers taste great, chicken nuggets, etc. Things that don't cook well in a microwave are perfect for the Nuwave. Makes the food nice and crunchy the way it should be instead of soggy. Clean-up is also very easy.

I absolutely love this oven, I cook just about anything in it and it cooks perfect, I took a few trys to get used to but after a while we use it all the time, It saves on heating the whole oven if only cooking a small portion of something, also cooking in it does not involve alot of watching...my favorite!!

I read tons of reviews about the nu-wave and i was kinda scared to buy one, well i just bought one anyway and i love it..my dome did crack after 2 years but you can buy them online for 15 bucks so it's totally worth it..cant wait to make my turkey in it.....

I bought this because I work full time and at least once a week I forget to thaw out dinner. and was very skeptical.   Well, this does a great job cooking frozen meat.  It really works.  I also use it when it is hot outside and don't want to turn on the oven  It does not make the kitchen warm in any way but boy does it make the food hot! I cooked chicken nuggets in it and they tasted even better then when we cook them in the oven.  They were moister and crisper.  I have become addicted to this thing! I cook at least three nights a week with it. It cooks faster and juicier than the oven.  I am sure that I am saving energy too but I haven't checked.  Everyone should have one.

ordered this because I had always been intrigued by the claims in the infomercials. This oven would be good in a dorm or RV or anyplace where there is no other cooking method, since it broils, roasts and grills and you can get a crispiness that microwaves won't give you.

Yes, it cooks faster than traditional ovens, but that's mostly because a) it's a smaller area to heat up and almost all the heat goes directly into the food and not a big empty space, and b) the convection fan keeps the heat circulating; not because there's some magic to the "infra-red" heating.

It's a heavy and bulky item, which you are not likely to drag out of hiding on a regular basis if you already have an oven, stove, microwave and/or toaster oven. Unless your kitchen is one of those big House & Garden marvels, you will not have enough surface space to find a place to put this for the cooking process, let alone leave it out all the time. If you need an extra oven for cooking something at the same time your regular oven is in use, this would come in handy.

Lifting the lid to turn or check cooking is an exercise in caution, as the heating element remains hot, and there's really no place to put the hood while you are working with your food (forget the lid holder, it causes the lid to partially obstruct the oven). When your food is done, you still have to put the hood somewhere where it can cool down. The tray does not stay as cool as they lead you to believe but still manageable with bare hands.

Really, unless you need to cook a large turkey, save your money and go for a large toaster oven if you have no other cooking device.

I really like this product.  It's clean, fast and prepares meat to perfection.  The clean up is easy and the unit keeps all the juices and grease inside, so it's not all over the kitchen or me!  Just follow the cooking guide thats' included to prepare the meat to your level of doneness.  We like everything well-done and it does that with ease and the meat is still tender.

The only thing I think still needs work is that I don't care to fix bread in it.  I fix home-made biscuits alot and all bread has to be turned over to cook and I can't tell the top from the bottom.  It gets done but doesn't quite look right.

It keeps the kitchen cooler and doesn't require as much electricity.

The unit itself does get quite warm when in use, so it's definately NOT for use around children.  But as long as their old enough to understand not to touch it, it's quite amazing to watch everything cook.

I really feel that it's one of my best purchases.

This oven has saved me alot of trouble in the kitchen. I can cook from frozen and the food comes out better than when i used to defrost it.
