GREAT FOR A LOT OF USES
I have two of these sets and sadly I actually broke one of the little Ramekins so now have an odd set of 7. I thought these little dishes would be indestructable but when they break, they shatter, so now I'll be more careful. I use these for dessert like ice cream or cut-up fruits, I use these like custard cups for baking -- I put the Ramekins inside another CorningWare baking dish filled with water in the oven to bake flan. I can quickly melt butter in the microwave in these little dishes -- just so many handy uses. And I can easily stack them on top of each other in my overhead cupboard (usually two Ramekins high but I've also stacked up to three high). Easy to clean, looks good, quick and handy for a scoop of yoghurt or ice cream, and stores nicely. They fit great in the dishwasher either on the top or bottom. I've never worried about where to put them in the dishwasher because they are pretty durable in spite of my breaking one on the floor. I make sure they aren't banging against other dishes in the dishwasher.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
