LIGHT WEIGHT ALUMINUM TOPMY WIFE LOVES IT ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT HAS A LIGHT WEIGHT ALUMINUM TOP. MOST OTHER BRANDS USE A HEAVY GLASS TOP WHICH IS CUMBERSOME AND NOT EASY TO WORK WITH.

This is the second Presto skillet that we have owned and it is worth every penney. The pan heats quickly and evenly. Ideal for fish frys and southern fried chickedn. We used the first skillet so much we just wore it out
