Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker April 01, 2011
Keeps coffee hot longer than my Krups Stainless Steele pot. I like that it came with 2 travel mugs that you can make your coffee directly into one or two cups so no more guess work or ending up just short of what you need. However, one of the mugs got dropped and it flew apart and I'm sorry to say that they do not appear to sell the mugs individually.
There is a red light on the maker that flashes while the coffee is brewing and it doesn't appear to like it when you remove the pot before brewing is done - so patience is required!
When you pour coffee or are filling the maker with water, water runs from the spout down the side, making a mess making a mess on the counter or floor - so poor over the sink or have a towel handy!
The maker comes has a split filter option so you can make decaf or tea in one side and something else in the other side using the 2-travel mugs provided.
You can also make iced coffee, which is basically just filling the pot with ice and reducing the water used to make your coffee. Nice feature!

Not worth the price - cheap and nothing unique July 25, 2010
Found the quality to be poor and not worth the money. The brewing portion broke in just under a year and even though I still use the carafe to pour coffee from the Black and Decker 6-cup coffee maker I bought four years ago for $9.99, I have to fill cups over the sink because it dribbles when I pour. It would be much more economical to buy the parts rather than the system. Buy a good dependable coffee maker and then buy the carafe and travel mugs separately--you'll end up ahead.

Leaks coffee/water when you pour.This was a rather inexpensive coffee maker and i love it! The thermas keeps the coffee hot for a long time. I love that it comes with the travel mugs so i can set it to brew a cup for the hubby in the morning before he leaves. Then later when i get up i can make my own pot! It works out nicely for us having getting up at different times. The only thing that bugs me is the thermas does leak some when your pouring a cup but its not too terrible. Overall i havent had any major problems with this coffee maker and i would recommend it to friends and family!

Keeps coffee hot for a long time.,Stays hot!I really love this coffeee pot. I received it as a birthday present from my mom and have had it for about 6 months. In the past, coffe pots would last me about 3 months. I would have to clean them constantly. This coffee pot works well even if you have hard water at home. It does not lime up inside. The coffee tastes great every time. I would highly recommend this coffee pot, not sure why its raiting is not higher.
