Tassimo is my new best friend December 24, 2010
I absolutely love everything about this machine. I got it as an amazing birthday present from great friends and use it daily, often more than once, were as before, I'd only make coffee once a day. Now I can make it how I want it, or need it and my husband can have it whichever way he likes it. Both of us use this machine to make a drink for our individual tastes and needs at the moment. I love the variety of the T Discs. I keep a nice stock of it around all the time and have even got my neighbors hooked on it, as they come over in the morning sometimes to have a drink of their own. I love how I can pick from a latte, coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino, etc. whenever I like. I recommend this brewer to everyone!

Machine works GREAT, Coffee needs impovement October 18, 2011
My Tassimo machine works GREat, gets a coffee to you fast and clean, although the taste and varity of coffee flavors are not GREAT at all. Starbucks has recently quit providing coffee for Tassimo machines. I think the Keriug is a better choice when it comes to single brew coffee pots.

Easy to set up,Easy to use,Space saving,Pod variety,Stylish with most decor.,Water Filtration System,Addictive, in an amazing wayDoe snot matter if you like tea, hot chocolate, italian or starbucks coffee. Want to make a Latte with foamed milk? It does it all. Simple setup, excellent water filtration system, the most complete selection of teas (including milk foam), coffee, hot chocolate at a very reasonable price.
The built in styate of the art water filtration system makes the coffee taste really good, even if your house's water is full of chlorine or other tastes.
Can highly recommend the system! Careful: It's addictive.... ;-)

AddictiveI got this for CHristmas. This is the best purchase my husband ever made. I love how the barcode reader tells the system exactly how to prepare my beverage. You have a variety of beverage that can be prepared. The cappuccino was a little to milky, but with a little practice I finally got it right. I would highly recommend this system to anyone.

Disks can be hard to findSpent some time with other reviews. Manufacturer was acquired by Bosch and quality issues seem to have been resolved. Cups are not as easy to find as Kuerig K-cups, but Tassimo line includes higher-end name brands. Some online supplies in bulk. Also found some at ******, Bed-Bath-and-Beyond. Neatest thing is the controller. The Device reads a barcode on the cap of the disks. If you're making cappucino, it not only sets the temp for coffee but steams milk from a milk disk. There's a cleaning disk, a built in water filter, and a dummy so you can make hot water. My workplace has put three Kuerig's through their paces, and they're reliable enough and easy to use. Ours seem to grow algae where the water tank meets the heating element. (I suggested getting a small catfish or snails to keep the tank clean but my suggestion was not well received). I have nothing against the Kuerig. The Tassimo just seems to produce a wider range of beverages while being easier to use than a multi-cup expresso maker or a drip pot. A good purchase for a tea or coffee drinker away from home. I bought it online and picked it up at the store. No problem, although Sears fullfillment did hose my $50.00 rebate apparently because some numbers didn't match. But that's a whole other issue.
