I love this sturdy espresso machine!
This is a great espresso machine for the money. I've used several espresso machines over the past 15 years and this one is my favorite. Cost a little bit more than Mr. Coffee but you get better quality. I like the addition of more stainless steel over plastic. My favorite feature is the hinged lid on the carafe. The lid doesn't fall out when you're pouring your espresso. I tried two other more expensive espresso machines from two other stores and sent both of them back. This Krups machine is a little gem and I love how it falls right in with my other stainless steel kitchen accessories. I will return to the Krups brand in the future and not just for espresso makers. Overall
easy to use and efficient
This little coffee maker is easy to use and maintain, and does a very acceptable job. I use it to make expresso, to boil water and to steam milk or apple cider, and have not yet encountered a problem. After owning it for just under a year, I have only needed to descale it once, and although the steam nozzle can be a little troublesome to clean, in general maintainance is simple. I would prefer the steam nozzle to protrude a little further from the machine, as I am limited in what pitchers I can use, and i would also prefer the steam nozzle cover to be a little easier to remove. Also, the coffee symbol on the on/off nob has begun to wear off, which is really more an annoyance than a functional issue. For boiling a single cup of water, or brewing a single cup of coffee, this is the most cost-effective appliance I have yet used. I'm very satisfied.
