    So Far So Good! January 02, 2011

    I bought this coffee pot for $29.99. Great Price + I liked that it was red. Best part so far is the wide spout on the pot! Best feature! Comes with a gold filter, so no buying paper filters. Easy to use buttons are right up front. The only negatives is that you have to add water from the far rear, so the pot has to be slid out from under the cabinets to get to the reservoir. I just bought one of the As Seen On TV, appliance slider and that fixed that problem. Also, the entire set up is a little larger than I am used to, so it does take up quite a bit of room. I don't have an problems with it leaking as others have suggested. Definitely the best pot I have ever owned, so my recommendation is to go ahead and buy it and hope you don't get a faulty one. Pot is cheap enough, its worth giving it a try.

    Reservoir will not hold water. October 19, 2010

    Purchased the unit, loved the way it looks and is easy to set up. Put water in and programmed it for the next morning--5 minutes later several ounces of water had leaked out, wiped it up but continued to leak. Took it back and got another one, this one appeared to be ok until next morning it had leaked also, just much slower. Giving up on this model, I think there are design issues.

    I have always been a Mr Coffee Buyer, or maybe even a Black and Decker buyer, so this time around I wanted to try something new and different to me. I HATE coffee makers who claim to be able to sneak a cup when making coffee and wind up spilling half of the cup on the burner, causing the machine to not make coffee hot enough. This thing so far is great. You need to get past the CONE filter, which thankfully they give you a reuseable one! And then the making is great. THE ONLY THING I DONT LIKE is that the **** thing BEEPS too much, to turn it on, to set it and to tell you the coffee is ready. The **** thing woke up my daughter on the 1st morning. But other than that it is a decent and DIFFERENT machine! Higher quality than the other guys.

    The smell of fresh brewed coffee drifts down the hall. My senses are slowly emerging as I open my eyes. The sound of the alarm clock is annoying, but then I smell heaven and follow the aroma to my bright red Kenmore Coffee Maker. Morning Bliss! The smell of coffee brewing gently wakes me up every single morning. It's a wonderful way to start the day!

    After 14.5 months, our coffee maker suddenly stopped working. We removed the bottom but the circuit board parts all looked good, fuse ok, no burst caps, no burned resistors. No heat, so the block or switch in the heater circuit must be bad. Pourer always dripped anyway, so we were using a paper towel every morning to catch the coffee drips, or they would run down the pot, and onto the counter and onto the burner, which accumulated a ton of old coffee burned onto the metal heater. So we will shop for something else now, since we gave Sears $50 for less than 15 months of useful product.
