NoneI found that after purchasing the Craftsman 309 piece mechanics tool set that a few bonus tools were needed. I hit the jackpot with the Craftsman adapter set! This is a MUST HAVE in any toolbox. The set includes 1/4 to 3/8 in., 3/8 to 1/4 in., 3/8 to 1/2 in., and 1/2 to 3/8 in. adapters. Wow, this allows for a nice quick change to other sizes because sometimes autos are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you might get. This set has already paid for itself and I would recommend this to every DIYer. This also filled some empty slots in a Craftsman storage chest as well. This is a great MADE IN THE USA tool.

Pros:
worth it's weight in GOLDThese are very nice to own. Need that little extra reach just add these while changing ratchet size or socket drive size and you will have that little etra reach. Or if you ned that extra power from a larger ratchet drive in your hand add the 1/2 inch to 3/8 adapter on your 1/2 inch ratchet and you will have the extra power to remove or install the nut or bolt with greater power and less strength from your own muscle. These have helped me many times over the past years, saved me time and in many instances made the job possible to be done. Without hese adapters the whole set I carry would be far less effective, carry them in my mechanic set always and they ahve never let me down when I needed them.

The 4 piece adaptor set is the perfect supplement to any socket / ratchet tool kit. I consider this set a "must have" for the smaller tool kit that I keep in my vehicle in case of emergency. If you're considering purchasing a Craftsman tool kit as a gift this socket adaptor kit would be a much appreciated bonus.
