    Good light for most types of jobs September 30, 2010

    This light works fine for most jobs around the house and under the hood.  I like that it stands sturdily and you can rotate the light quickly rather than readjusting where it sits to point the light in another direction.  My friend dropped this flashlight too with the Ni-Cad battery on it.  The bulb housing popped off and we couldn't find the bulb.  I went down to Sears to pickup a replacement without any issues.  It was about $3 but I told my buddy it was $7 so it turns out that this flashlight can make you money as well :)

    Not very adjustable September 12, 2010

    I am very disappointed with this light.  I bought it without looking at it, given its low price and I have a lot of other C3 tools.  I use a Hitatchi lamp a lot, which has a 'tilt' adjustment.  This is a 'rotate to weird angles' adjustment.  There's no way to shine this directly up if it's sitting on the floor (which I often do if I'm working between ceiling beams)--and the tilt to adjust means that placement of the lamp on a surface is part of how you aim it--which might not be available in so many scenarios.

    If you don't have a light, this might be better than nothing.  But I'd suggest buying a different light.

    It works fine and easily fits all craftsman power pacs. Much easier to use than a drop light or clamplanp. Swivel head allows you to place the light on the floor and shine light up to where you need it. Light weight but powerful. Can't believe I hadn't bought one a long time ago.

    Hard to find replacement bulbs,Easily breakable bulb,Bulb is too Dainty!

    I got this light with a 3/8s in 75th anniversary kit (tells you how long I've had it). Plusses, I like the light, it is bright, easy to handle, ok weight, swivel top is very useful...Cons...I HATE THE BULBS!!! if you look cross eyed at them the go out...they are way to sensitive. because of the upright design this will get knocked over several times during the life of the light...and every time the bulb will die!. Of couse Sears is always out of 19.2 bulbs...BECAUSE WE KEEP BUYING THEM UP!!. It now is someplace in my storage locker as I haven't used it for years since the last bulb died and I couldn't find replacements at the store. They need to build a "Rugged" bulb for this application. So I'm getting the 2tube florescent and giving it a try.

    I replaced my old 14.4 volt light with this and what a difference. Bright , easy to handle and hold and battery lasts a LONG TIME. I highly recommend the C3 series by sears. Very nice set and uses same battery
