Best Father's day gift, EVER!
I have only had this kit since last Friday and have already built a patio cover and fixed several nagging things around the house. My old drill is more of a "hobby-ists" drill that I got 7 years ago. It never drove 3" screws and groaned over mediocre tasks. The first thing I did was drive 3" screws in my exterior door hinges since I wasn't able to with my last drill when I installed them a few weeks back. Now I have this 19.2V kit and the drill ROCKS! I was driving screws like a big dog. The adjustable torque and built in levels were a huge help to get everything just where it needed to be. I have never owned a portable circular saw or reciprocating saw and now I wonder how I ever got along without them. These things ROCK! I was cutting here, nibbling there, these saws were ripping through things "like buttah". I was so impressed. I made it through virtualy the entire job and didn't have to recharge at all. Which wouldn't have been a problem because the batteries charge so dang fast! I now have a punch list of things I want to fix and build. The work light was handy too. We lost a set of keys in the lawn last night and I grabbged my new toy, um - er, I mean tool, and it lit up the yard and we found the missing keys in a flash. I know I am more capable and definately a much cooler person now that I have these babies! I would have given a higher rating on reliability but I have only had these for 4 days now. I am sure that the Craftsman name speaks for itsself on that one though. Thanks Sears and Craftsman! I love my new toys! (I mean tools)

Good for the $$$, not for pros
I have owned a ton of cordless tools (contractor) and while these are a great deal, they are pretty light duty, especially the saws. The drill is pretty good, but it dosen't seem to turn as fast as others even though they are suppose to be the same speed. I really like the light best of all. I have a Dewalt and a Hitachi and they are both much better, but cost much more. If you want something just to have around the house for an occasional weekend project, they will do OK, but if you use your tools hard, get one of the others I have mentioned. I have had mine for 3 years I guess, lost one battery (dead) and the drill sometimes won't go wide open.

Great little kit for the price. I had an old cordless drill. It's amazing how much these new cordless tools have in torque. The saw works just as well for small to medium jobs, haven't done any big jobs yet.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
