    This is a great package deal. April 01, 2011

    I purchased this package on Black Friday. It is one of the best investments I have spent. The tools work well. I never have a problem with power and the 2 batteries I got with the package means I never run out of charge. I would recommend this set to anyone who is looking for these types of tools. They can handle all needs.

    I usually like Craftsman tools but not when it comes to anything that uses rechargeable batteries. The batteries die FAST and they are expensive to replace. I have bought six replacement batteries for this set so far and they are now starting to die. I also have a Dewalt combo set that I have NEVER had to buy new batteries for. So spend the extra money and get a better tool to start with. The tools themselves are fine but you'll find yourself spending your hard earned cash on batteries just keeping these thing going. Craftsman needs to do a better job of manufacturing batteries or lower the price on replacements. This is the last Craftsman rechargeable tool I will ever buy. From here on out it wil either be Dewalt or Bosch.

    I have not been able to use the trim saw yet because I was shorted the inner and outer blade washers, the hex key and one of the two batteries. It's been two weeks since I reported the washer problem and have not seen the parts. I emailed yesterday about the battery. The rest of the tools work fine and this is the first problem I have ever had with Craftsman/Sears.

    Purchased this set online based on Craftsman reputation and cost. I needed a decent "around the house" cordless set of tools for everyday home improvement and repairs. I am not a "professional" in any sense of the word, but this set really has been great to use so far. I repaired broken fence and was able to drive screws deep into wood with ease. The circular saw works well, but only cuts about 2 inches deep at it's deepest setting. Haven't tried the saws-all yet, but looks pretty heavy duty for basic uses. Wish these kits would not come with a light. Overall I think I got a good deal for the price and look forward to using these for at home projects. I would recommend it.

    Bought these as a starter set for the C3 tools. The drill has plenty of power, but is a little on the large side. The light is useful if you don't already have a cordless work light. The recipicating saw has more power than I expected. Not as powerful as a corded model, but enough power for those quick jobs that you wouldn't want to bother taking out a corded model for. The little 5 1/4 inch circular saw was my big suprise. I thought it would be just short of uselesss, but is one handy saw for trim and quick cuts in up to a 2x4. It could probably bigger wood, but I have corded circlular saws for that.
