Craftsman 19.2 Volt 5 Pc. Cordless Set-Powerful!
I've owned my 19.2 Volt Craftsman power tool sets for over 5 years. The tools in this set are my most commonly used and have provided me countless hours of solid performance. The Drill has plenty of torque to power through 98% of my jobs...the impact has plenty of torque to make quick work of stubborn bolts...the circular saw blast through 2 bys with ease...the recip saw gets-er-done with little effort and the florescent light last forever on the 19.2 battery!
I've also added to this set the wonderful orbital buffer, the bright incadesent light, the needed right angle drill and the helpful caulk tube dispenser. All of my 19.2 volt tools perform as good or better than I expected and have held up extremely well. I have purchased replacement batteries as the regular 19.2V last about 3-4 years, but find they provide plenty of power and long life when freshly charged!
I have many professional corded power tools, but due to their convenience, I find myself with my Craftsman portable 19.2V cordless in my hands most of the time!

Battery issues
The overall assortment of products and accessories is a great combination for numbers of projects. I purchased the combination kit for my son who was starting a renovation project. The issues are with the batteries and the charger. The batteries have a very short life span, and when placed on the charger, the charger reads that the battery is fully charged.

Great Set !!!
These are replacement tools for my old DEWALT set that I received for x-mas. They are well made and don't feel cheap and the battery life is awesome, still on first charge from x-mas day and I do not keep them in the charger ! I have used them on everything from auto, doors, windows, etc. And tomorrow is the first of Feb ! I would recommend them to anyone!

These tools are awsome, although I wish the saw was a little larger then the 6" blade it has. I believe the set should have come with LITHIUM batteries, being they are lighter and last longer.

I ordered the C3 19.2 Volt 5pc combo kit and got one battery the charger ,light,recipercating saw, and drill. missing was the extra battery,trim saw,and the impact wrench. The C3 kit was advertised as a 5 pc kit only received 3 pcs and a bag.

Way more useful than I had ever imagined.
For a guy that liked DIY projects, this really is a great fit. By far & away, my favorite piece is the impact driver. I've used this more times than I can count, and just finished using it to build a 16'x20' deck. That is a lot of deck boards that needed to be screwed down! My batteries weren't quite keeping up with my contractor friend's Hitachi 18v Lithiums, but these o'l NiCads came awfully close. Initially this kit was an early Christmas present and now I have the jigsaw, 2 chargers & drills and boy have I used em a lot since. Whether buzzing through 2x4's to frame up a wall or using a mason blade to buzz through Hardi-Backer, the skill saw really does have plenty of power. The Hi and Low speeds on the drill are actually quite useful especially in those situations where you need lower speed but more power. The sawzall is handy but I haven't used it a lot - just enough to completely demolish the blade that comes with the kit. Lastly, this light is great diy electrical work.
