    A great introduction to the C3 system. December 16, 2010

    The Sears Craftsman C3 power tool system works very well. This drill was my first tool that got me hooked into the system. I have done everything with this drill, from hanging shelves, hanging drywall, redoing my porch, and carving pumpkins, and it has not failed me. The weight is good, and it is comfortable to use. This drill is probably looked down upon my professionals who swear by brands like Bosch, DeWalt, and Milwaukee, but I gotta tell you, this drill has preformed well with great speed, control and power. The drill has been dropped a few times, from high distances, and it still works great.

    The only regret that I have is that I wish the assist handle was easy to remove. I have a drill holster, and with the handle, it doesn't fit. But that is just me. Also, the grey rubber details on the handle are wearing away. But, I usually wear gloves for long drilling jobs.

    Give Craftsman power tools a try again, you might be surprised at how well they can hand with the other big names.

    Great while it lasts April 19, 2007

    These are great drills for residential users but my company owns maybe 8 of these and they just don't last when put to commercial use. I find myself at sears once a week having to make full use of the warranties. But like I said they're great drills till they break

    We own this drill, and up until about 2 weeks ago we have been unable to find a replacement battery for it. We decided to come to Sears, and thank god that we did! You guys actually carry the spare part that we needed, and at a reasonable price as well.

    I bought this combo six years ago for my new job in Phoenix. I work as a mechanic so I use it almost everyday. Both the light and the drill are going strong!!!
