    Tool chest has very good quality and function for price point December 09, 2011

    I just picked up this unit after a very LONG delay waiting for it. Took 45 days to arrive and not sure why Sears takes so long to get them. On the bright side, no damage, and unit looks great in my garage with the other Gladiator cabinets. For this price point (get it on sale for best value),  you get a solid box, nice drawers and liners to work with. Casters are solid and HD making it a breeze to move around, if needed. Overall, very satisfied with this chest. Make sure they have them on order or in stock at the warehouse, otherwise, appears you will wait some time before it arrives.

    Gladiator Prem 27" Rollaway is well built, but watch for defects March 16, 2011

    The roll-away looks great, is built solid and has a great feel of quality. The drawers slide very easily and are simple to remove if needed. I was excited to get my roll-away after admiring it in the store. It took a little over two weeks to arrive at the store, it fits into any SUV very easily, but you need two people to lift. When I took it out of the box I noticed that the upper right corner facing was buckled, this appears to have happened durring production. The store was willing to replace the unit or give me a minor price adjustment, while the damage does not affect the operation of the unit, it does catch your eye to the defect. I feel that a product like this should leave the factory in great working order and perfect in appearance. I also contacted whirlpool, but have not heard back. I also purchased the 6 drawer chest and intermediate unit, the chest came in extremely damaged from the factory and the intermediate unit is on back order. Good product, but just be prepared to examine your unit before leaving the store. All in all, I look forward to having the whole set in my garage. The whole unit is very tall, I'm 6'5" and I have difficulty seeing into the top tray.

    I love the tool box .My only complaint is the dent on the bottom corner was so much that the caster could not be fastened until I bent it back into place. No damage on box and did not open until I got it home and it was to far to take back. I think it was damaged at manufacturing site. I had myself and another to help unload and know it did not happen here. If anyone from sears/ whirlpool reads can send pictures if anyone wants to see it.

    Purchased all three of these units. Came well packaged only one issue. Ordered online and received a text message when they were ready to be picked up. (Nice touch) Looks very good with my (3) 48"x72" wall hung Gladiator cabinets. (3) 36"x72" wall hung and (6) 28"x28" three were wall hung and three were custom built inside a work bench with the doors flipped. (So the handles were near the top of work top surface.) Plus have additional storage behind the work bench.

    Only two issues, one was one of the wall cabinets just would not square up. Just got it replaced and everything is good. The middle tool chest has an issue. It looks great, no damage to the chest at all upon receipt. But the top drawer will not lock. Have read this in many reviews and was hoping Gladiator would have addressed this issue by the time I purchased mine. December 2011 suppose not. The middle Cabinet is the only one with defects. Suppose I can send it back or just live with it. All three came with a key each, and liners for the drawers. If you purchase the bottom one with the wheels. Be sure to get the bolts snug do not over do it, or caveman it because they will break off. Can't blame Gladiator that I over do everything. In conclusion, all in all am very pleased with the Gladiator tool storage purchase.
