Easy to use, somewhat easy to read, when you go to inch pounds it doesn't go as low as advertised.

I've used the Snapon3/8" flex head ratcheting Tech2FR100 for years. Nice big display that uses strain gauge technology to let you know the torque as you apply it, and both vibrates and beeps as you approach the preset limit torque IN EITHER DIRECTION. I thought the Sears wrench would be similar, but this is just a $30 'clicker' wrench that uses an LCD display to show the preset rather than the micrometer found on a standard clicker torque wrench. When you add in that the LCD is tiny with microscopic fonts in the 3-6 point range and I need a magnifier to read it. And it only clicks in the clockwise direction, so you cannot check breaking torque on fasteners. The name of the game in torque is accuracy and repeatability, and I did not test those features so it might be fine for its intended purpose, but for a lot more money than a plain clicker. It also weights 4-1/4 lb, which is about twice that of Snapon 3/8" TWs, significant if you have a long line of fasteners to deal with.

I like the torque wrench. My two minor nits are: It didn't come with the required batteries (3 LR44 batteries) The "click" sound is almost impossible to detect at the lower levels.

I purchased the product and immediately put it to work on an automotive application. Set it to the 15 lbs of torque the part required. As I torqued it I became a little concerned because it was not releasing. About that time, the bolt broke through the aluminum part. There is a $95.00 part up in flames. I then pulled out my old trusty manual torque wrench and performed a comparison check. Ends up it was out of calibration by 17 lbs. So, 15 lbs was actually 32 lbs. I called Sears with the expectations that I could send it out to be calibrated. They said return is the only option. So, I will do that and test the new one. If it is not accurate, i will return for a full refund. Be nice to get my $95.00 part replaced. :)

I was a little skeptical using a took that rely s on batteries for accuracy but after using both the 3/8 and 1/2 drive wrenches a few times I really like how you know exactly what number your on.

After purchasing this torque wrench, I was attempting to use it in the middle of no where. For the cost of the wrench, I can't believe it doesn't come with batteries. Nor is there any warning on the packaging. When I returned to Sears, an hour away, I was told that don't come with batteries and Sears doesn't sell them. If I'd been warned the night before I could have at least bought some from the *********** I visited after buying the wrench. I returned it for the dial beam wrench that doesn't need batteries.

Been needing one of these for quite some time but didn't want to pay full price. The price finally got me to commit. 1/3 off for a tool that works smooth, is balanced, looks good, too - what else do you need?

Accurate, perfect easy to use. Digital unit change with push of a button is my favorite feature. 4 stars because the case it comes in is **** and will need to find a storage case. Did not come with batteries nor did it say batteries not included, buy your batteries in store before taking it home.

Got it today at my local sears, needed to replace my spark plugs and having an Aluminum cylinder block, I wanted to make sure them were torqued properly. This wrench is great and for the price it's good. NOW THE DOWNFALL: it clicks exactly like a regular non-digital torque wrench, I expected more of a digital/noise when torque limit is met. Also had to go back to sears cause it doesn't include battery (3x 357) small watch battery. Another 6 bucks. But after all the hassle I think it's a pretty decent buy. But their "digiclick" gimmick on the name is very misleading.
